Players like Corr, Fischer, Jones etc ?

Geelong have a 6 zip mid lead by Atkins, Bowes, Bruhn & Parfitt.

Forget the surname, 1) they adhere to team structures 2) are they coachable 3) are they competitive & 4) do they value defence as much as attack?

I have no idea about LDU for 1 & 2 but I’d assume he’s worse than the Geelong quarter in those 2. I know he’s worse in 3 & 4.

i'm not arguing that.

why do you think he has currency if that's what you think of him? you think somehow other clubs recruting dept's are full of nuffies that only look at players draft number and thier highlight reel?

They back themselves in to get the best out by virtue of 39 other players extracting the best out of themselves around him. So they’ll pay for his talent not his performance. Is the logic I’m assuming anyway.

I’m just sick of pea hearts.

I think he’s an offensive weapon that in the right set up could be used to break games open. In our system, our distributors can’t set him into space where he does his best work. Clubs will know if they can put the right type of player around him he will elevate their side. There would be a fair few teams who’d put their bids in.

Like Zuurhar, LDU has put the cue in the rack. While Cam is lost, l think LDU might be able to get turned around but it will take time.

St Kilda will have a decent crack I reckon

I get what you're saying, but the decent clubs generally don't force others to cover the deficiencies of one bloke.

Of the Melbourne clubs, I can only really see Essendon and St Kilda having a strong dip.

disagree. he's not an outside or a 'cherry on top' player, he's at the coal face. if he can't perform with us he can't for anyone else.

Maybe it's just me but it seems his best football at the club was under Noble. He was in an absolute purple patch late in Noble's career. Specifically recall he was close to best on in a massive Sat night winter drubbing down at GMHBA.

Other than the Freo away win last year it seems he's barely fired a shot under Clarko.

I think LDU’s biggest problem is LDU.

From the outside looking in he has been off colour from the start of the year. Is it because he doesn’t like the direction Clarko is taking? Who knows?

What I do know is that this bloke should be a marquee player in the comp and he just isn’t.

He's barely played under Clarko. Got maximum coaches votes in his first two games coaching, then got injured.
