How much rain did Melbourne get?Apparentley more water fell on Melbourne on Sunday than has on LA since April 2024.
Her name isn't Alex is it?We live next to a couple of assisted living residences, they take all types including a new lady a few days ago. Ever since there's been almost non stop screaming like some mix of an angry dog's bark, someone getting the best and longest rogering of their lives and someone getting that bamboo shoved under their fingernails torture.
It's really changed the vibe in thebackyardinside and out. (edit for accuracy)
There was a woman down the road lived in a tent and carried on like that. Disappeared a month ago after allegedly threatening a kid with a Tomahawk. I heard she was on the mainland in some sort of care facility. Its highly unlikely but these sort of coincidences do happen sometimes.Yeah could be. Cant find out for sure tho, the ambo's just whisked her away. Hope the drugs kick in an give her some peace.
Ahh the serenity, minus the #@$! crickets that is

Moe Turaga came to Australia for a better life. He became a victim of modern slavery
Moe Turaga would work over 60 hours a week, seven days, on a grape farm on the Victoria/NSW border. Two years into his work, Mr Turaga discovered he had not been paid a cent.www.abc.net.au
Certainly nothing like the scale of the Turaga story, but it reminded me of it .... circa the end of 94 I was in Israel working on a Moshav ..... my mate Gary and I had bargained with our farming host that we'd bang out 13 days straight to get a saturday off and head into Beerhseba, the nearest big joint, and have a day out. Anyway, said farmer gives us our paycheck on the friday night and we head of early the next morning. We get to the bank with our cheques, only to be told we could only get them cashed at the Tel Aviv branch ... like hours away! Profanity ensued, followed by an hour or so wandering through a Bedouin market. Eventually we decided to hit the Hut, sit in some air conditioning and have a beer and pizza feast. Took a little moment to figure out what was wrong with the Hawaiian pizza .... no ham!! We were pretty pi$$ed off and were keen to just up and leave the farm .... except old mate had our passports .... Reckon I left maybe 2 weeks later, copped a spray from the farmers wife, nasty piece of work she was .... sh!t joint, **** 'emAll to often occurrence in this country.
Thoughts on attending the Avalon Airshow?
I’m 40/60 atm
The plane variety seems to get less and less
Thoughts?
How was the traffic on the Westgate freeway when you went?Only been to the one 4 years ago I think, but will go this year. Also fortunate to live 5 minutes from Tyabb which is obviously smaller but still good to check out every couple of years as well.
Keen to see the F18 and the Roulettes.
