Would or have you ever intentionally overspent (say in a budget sense) knowing that you would be reprimanded? I guess it's the same as making a risk/reward investment, it's just hugely unlikely someone with a track record like Nisbett - and in the public eye - would take such a risk.

No I have not but I have certainly taken some huge risks, lost some and also won on some. Trevor wouldn’t as it’s not needed. But if any club could it would be us.

If those risks involve intentionally breaking rules, and you’re documenting decisions to do that at a board level, you must’ve been extremely lucky if you think that’s something Indian Pacific Ltd should look at doing.

Don’t have your head in the sand, Indian Pacific like most huge groups don’t get where they are playing by the rules. You know this already.

Graham might need a fresh start but interesting how a bloke like him was interviewed for a senior coaching position and then goes and applies for a position thats not better than he previous gig.

Mail is that he went close with the Pies and the + feedback was that he needs some exposure at another or other Clubs systems, to further strengthen his CV.

Most of the senior Coaches have to do the Club merry go round, before they land the head jig.

AKA - Pies still smarting from 2018 and wanting to, out of fear, dilute WCE coaching ranks.

lol :thumbsu: ... I actually believe it's prudent advise to him.
Would have been even more beneficial had he sought a Club in another State, that said with Covid - WA would be a hard place to convince the family to leave.

He actually started his coaching career at the Saints under Scott Watters but that’s probably not a great reference on the old CV.

I reckon your are on the money there , the whole Waters thing at the Saints was head scratching at best, mind you, the side show that was the level of dis functionality at Board level, was something that contained so much drama, that it could be a good tale for a TV mini series.

Just flat out removed it from the resume and doesn't even mention it in interviews.

Did you edit that just so it didn't say "land the head job"? 🤣

No was sorting out my spelling.

But let's be honest a HJ is so much more exciting that a spelling correction.... I know, I know almost ..... sounds like 👂 another Freudian slip.

"And it says here, Jaymie, that between 2011 and 2013 you were.....vibing?"
"That's correct."

To steal from a Trainspotting movie job interview deleted scene:

"Oh I actually had a heroin addiction at that time."

Much less shameful than being linked to the Saints setting an impersonator of their coach on fire.
