Because that's what you do now You are now highlighting a few lines . I posted that as an explanation on someone else's post. And you present them as conclusive evidence that I think that will be the reason Treloar will go to the Pies. If you would have read the previous quotes, you could have seen where I was referring too. Nuff said about that.
Anyway, we both agree it is circumstantial . And for the Tiger fans I will try to multi quote a bit more so that you don't start overreacting over nothing. Relax. We get Treloar, you get Motlop.
If you get Treloar, I hope we don't get Motlop. Refuses to run both ways, doesn't work hard enough.

It will still never get to pick 1 though. If Treloar were in the draft he would go number 1, so a pick around 10 and a player that collingwood doesn't want isn't equal to pick 1 or Treloar.

When a player leaves his club and nominates just the one club, the club that he left never gets equal value at the time of trading.

It's always a case of getting the best you can. It's just the way the system works.

And I doubt any recruiter takes Treloar over Weitering at pick 1.

A proven and young A grade potential elite midfielder would be overlooked as number 1? A lot of clubs would take the proven and still very young talent.

being the potential that an interstate team finishes last, I don't think they would take him at pick 1 especially knowing he could go home in 2 years.

Of course any recruiter would take Treloar over Weitering. Treloar has proven he is going to be a star.

Treloar is the one player from GWS that always talks about how much he loves the club and that he wants to be there from the start to when they are successfull.
He will re-sign IMO.
If he does go though I just hope he dosnt go to Melbourne!!!!! I hate those K-hunts

Cameron was never leaving.cogs is a loyal bloke.as for shiel he was the most likely to leave but he stuck around most of the tigers links came because his dating chocos daughter. why did he only sign for two years?

why has Treloar put negotiations on hold? seems fairly strange to a lot of people that 2 months ago he said he would stay, two months later his contract has been put off til the end of the year.

you would have to be blind not to see the writing on the wall.

27 Sep 2013 - "I could sign (with Collingwood) before any sort of trade week period is up and that settles everything," Thomas told radio station Nova 100.
"And then everyone will have egg on their face and a lot of kids will have to get their No.13 jumpers out of the bin because apparently a lot of them are throwing them out."

3 Oct 2013 - Collingwood's decorated midfielder Dale Thomas is set to join Carlton as a free agent, with the Blues about to secure him on a four-year deal worth close to $700,000 a season.

Well it only took Daisy 6 days to change his mind
