Are the games actually shorter still?

Fogarty, Stengle, Jones, Frampton, McAsey, Davis. That's 6 players into the side who weren't "best 22" last year. That's not bad opportunity given, particularly with three of the four emergencies are in the same boat. And promises of more debuts this year.
If the game goes on Big Bad Billy is going to play at least 1 more AFL game than some were predicting...LOLDon't mind the team. Great to see Davis picked.
Bit of an indictment on Himmelbergs preseason that Hampton got the JJ role over him.
Tex on the wing.
ThankyouAdelaide will name its full side on Thursday evening at 5.55pm ACDT.
I wouldn’t be gloating- he’s been as rubbish in the PS as was expected. If the game goes on Big Bad Billy is going to play at least 1 more AFL game than some were predicting...LOL
No JJ for the Cats..While I don't agree with picking a ruck/forward, I'm glad we chose Frampton over Himmelberg.
Tex on the wing isn't going to work so hopefully we don't try it much
I did LOL Pete...I was joking old mate.I wouldn’t be gloating- he’s been as rubbish in the PS as was expected.
Good on him but it’s clear he’s got this game by default for 2 reasons:
1. Most importantly selectors have decided the JJ position is more important structurally than playing a form player; and
2. EH has been slightly more rubbish than Frampton.
Now let me be clear that I wish him all the best and would be happy to eat my words if he makes a career here. Lot to play out before that happens
lolNo JJ for the Cats..
Agree, it was for me, the only really poor decision. And I would have said the same if EH had been picked.Given the Swans are only going in with Naismith as a ruck I thought it'd be a good opportunity to try just the one ruckman too.
