Adrian Dodoro: Football’s Biggest Fraud IMO

Their list is a just a genuine hodgepodge. They’ve actually got quite of a few players who are one best in their position, but then their bottom 6-8 are journeymen (Brown, Bellchambers, McKernan) or young guys who wouldn’t be getting games in other finals-finishing teams.

Shiel’s kicking and decision-making is a major flaw, and he went to water during some crucial plays last night when he should have been the one setting the tone for Essendon. He got shown up for effort and skill-level by a 20 year old Andrew McGrath.

They chalked up last year as an aberration after making the finals in 2017, but last night showed they are still well off the pace and not making inroads.

They should play the mad Tyrone bastard McKenna in the guts.

At least try it.

I'm no fan of Dodoro or anything but I think SOS might have him covered.
How can you judge that yet? You have to wait to see how this list rebuild turns out before you can be that definitive. If it turns out to be a bust, then sure SOS can cop the flak. But if we progress up the ladder and become a contender than he has been a success. Too early to make that call.

That Bombers midfield group is one of the softest I have ever seen assembled at the club. No one is prepared to put their head over the ball, sacrifice their bodies for the team to get the ball first. Dodo needs to become extinct.

what comp do you lot think this is? it's not like the Scottish Prem where a club like Rangers can be demoted and cut down and return with all their resources and be competitive instantly.

It took them years to get back to the top flight.

Dodos fault is he didn’t recruit the short legged plodder from the back to back prelim celebrators.

Seriously how does this bloke have the reputation he does?

How does he seemingly have free reign to as he pleases at Essendon and end up with promotions.

What has he actually achieved?

All this talk about Worsfold and maybe he’s part of the problem but this bloke has been in charge of their list 7 years.

Won zero finals, his drafting leaves a fair bit to be desired in my opinion and year after year they have the same giant flaws.

This man has a lot of people conned including the media. Don’t think I’ve seen them ever criticise his record.

Always banging on about him winning trade periods. How can you win them when they don’t lead to any sort of genuine success?
Does he actually have a good reputation though?

Can’t agree more. Always wondered why they wrap him up at trade time as a smart operator in trade week.

Must have some info on the club that only Essendon know of. How he can keep his job is a joke.

Essendon have a a powerful media mafia that can spin everything as a win except things you absolutely can't spin - like a ten goal flogging in the finals.

If footy didn't fundamentally revolve around winning games in footy in the finals, Essendon are the best team in the comp by some distance.

Exactly, blues worship SOS who hasn't anywhere near as many runs on the board as Dodoro.

Dodoro has always been a schrewed negotiator, typically he comes out on top. Was very surprised when they had to pay 2x 1st rounders for Shiel.

Recruits best available on the market and not to the team needs of Essendon. I will give him credit he has brought in some good talent; Stringer, Shiel and Saad but hasn't targeted the draft hard enough nor has he recruited what Essendon needs; a key forward and an inside bull midfielder.

He definitely isn't a fraud nor the worst list manager getting around.

Mate, they were relegated to the Scottish League 2. They progressed to League 1, the Championship, and then back into the Premiership. Even made the 2016 Scottish Cup final by beating Celtic while a Championship club.

Essendon drugs saga may seem like light years ago, but a club isn't going to pick itself up off the canvas overnight in a league like the AFL. If we had more freedom of player movement like the NFL, than perhaps yes,

It is believed efc board member Adrian Dodoro will be asked to undertake an exhaustive review of the clubs playing list and list management strategy.
He will reportedly work closely in the review with efc list manager ...

Adrian Dodoro 🤪🤪🤪

The builder of the Finals Titanic built an unsinkable ship that was state of the art. The builder of this unstoppable ship can't help it if its captains repeatedly ram it into icebergs.

This story should buy Dodoro at least another 10 years or 4 coaches.

Excellent.
