Considering we have been kept out of the last 2 drafts this years FA/trade periods are vital for us. We must bring in 2-3 players via fa/trade/draft who will be walk up starts in our first choice 22. We have alot of ground to make up if we are hoping for a quick turn around in our fortunes.

Yea I think it is extremely unlikely we will get Cameron. But with David Noble at a GWS game who knows. Davis would be a very realistic get. I reckon we will get Aish when he is out of contract next year.
I'm just looking forward to seeing what this club is made of in the next few weeks.

Hi guys. Don't mean to intrude but I don't know if you heard this. Rumors of course but I was told that you guys are looking to get experience in but not as coach. I think they wanted Dew, Francou and Lade as a team with Dew as the coach. Told to me by a mate who has connections in the footy world.

You'll probably be glad to hear it, but those names don't excite me in the least. All we'd be doing is bringing in a bunch of former teammates working together. That's exactly how a "boy's club" is started. And where is the experience we were told we'd get?

I'm confused with these rumours about JC, why would he move to Adelaide ?? I thought he was a Melbourne lad ? Why are people constantly talking about it, are we in fairyland ? I know how good he would be, but likelihood of it happening ?? At least with Aish or Davis they're is a good reason why they might want to come home, but JC ?? I hope you're not involved with the AFC drafting in any official capacity. That is probably the worst attitude you can have and offers nothing as an opinion.

He's not from Melbourne, he's from Dartmoor close to the border between Victoria and South Australia, and given he's a country boy he may feel more at home in Adelaide than he does in a much larger city like Melbourne.

Most players loyal to club's if playing - easier to target those on fringe - Jacobs, polec, etc

Well we have Pick 9 as a bargaining chip to help facilitate the Pies with their remuneration for losing Beams. The Lions will have to offer something of value to the Pies for gaining Beams.

Aish also has not signed a contract extension that was presented to him earlier this year too.

Doubt lions will accept unders just because beams wants to join them... Particularly as pies look to play hard ball. Stay out of this trade Imo the pies are pissed off!
