From a Melbourne player? Rabble?

Guess if anyone would know, it's them.

Not to mention Toumpas signed a contract extension during his first pre-season under Neeld and even before he had played a senior game and Melb were going like busted ass's at the time

Toumpas has been so shit he would be lucky to get traded back to the sanfl

Beggars can't be choosers

Definitely supported Lions growing up.

Personally not interested in him at all. Board getting sucked in to a high draft pick again IMO, haven't seen anything to suggest he'll be anything special.

Yep unified. A lot of us are fed up with you trolls, it's great the trolls are being called out.

Now that that's sorted and I'll forever be labelled as a troll...let's get back to pressing matters:

Where can we draft some genuine speed from? Matt White was clearly one that we should've looked at last year. There's got to be someone out there who has similar credentials.
Carlton's Dennis Armfield.
Essendon's Travis Colyer.
Geelong's Jordan Murdoch.
Or even a crack at Lewis Jetta or Gary Rohan after their horrid GF performances.

As I said dont take it personally. It would apply to any new poster. But, dont bag the Club regardless of what it does at least in your first month or so, trust me it will go a long way.

No worries. Not sure I bagged the club. Just said they've had no luck in getting young high SA draft picks back home, then someone said I had a negative attitude. All cool. I'm starting to learn how the forum etiquette works.

For this year at least the Pies hold all the cards, Beams is still under contract

Do they though?

His father is ill, and he wants to go back home. What kind of message does it send to the AFL world?

Lions will probably offer pick 4 and their second rounder/Victorian kid wanting to go home.

Did you speak to him last week when he was in Adelaide did you? I know his family quite well. Do you? He is NOT a Crows supporter and his exact words after the Sando sacking were, and I quote, "they are a rabble right now...not a good place to be".

Jeez that's a bit rich from jimmy, does he no he plays for Melbourne?

He's asked to go home for his sick dad and his dad wants to see both his boys playing at the same team. From the sounds he has the big C and outlook not good. The Pies have the contract card, but would lose major cred if they played hardball.

I would take Butcher for LJ. Butcher just needs to get his head fixed up mentally for kicking.
not in a fit. Why would you trade in someone who would not have any chance of playing AFL? No way he would be traded in! I bet Port will try and hold him for one more year in an effort to have some faith repaid?

Nah, he's a Crows supporter. His dad's a huge Brisbane supporter though, so I don't doubt he has a soft spot for them.

It would be solely for depth purposes, in a perfect world, LJ and/or Butcher would not be in the starting 22.

Your right. Pies caught between a rock and a hard place. The Lions probably could get away with their pick 4 and maybe a young Victorian on their list.
