Seriously though if he ever did decide to go "home" it would likely be SA over Victoria unless he's really looking for the Melbourne lifestyle.

I live in a town similar to Mt Gambier and anyone who lives in a town the size of Dartmoor would come here for pretty much everything, work, family, shopping, social, airport, bus, friends, schooling, medical, sport. 30 minutes away is basically the outskirts of town in the country.

Need to go to the city from Dartmoor? they would probably choose Adelaide over Melbourne due to it being less of adjustment, more flights in and out of Mt Gambier to Adelaide than Melbourne also.
