i'll be stoked to get a second
Our second is going to Jaksch.

You'll be offered your choice of Robinson, Garlett and Lucas. Which I know you won't want any of. Neither would I ( except Garlett).

But Lyons is out of contract and therefore unless you threaten the PSD, you'll probably be getting unders wherever he goes.

You must be Mick Malthouse if your making those decisions.

should we be speaking to Ryder ?
We should at the very least have inquired. Which we may have, who knows?

Good luck to Port, they've identified their weakness and have gone for it. Hopefully, we can resolve our weaknesses (key defender/outside runner/backup ruckman) in the trade/draft period.

Listing players who have been declared as up for trade isn't that hard.

But our second is going to Jaksch.

Lyons for Matt Watson?

We need more KPD depth and I know he is behind Henderson and Jamison.
He would suit our needs at 195cm. Could be a win - win for both clubs.

Do you think this is around the mark. I don't know how you guys rate Watson.

1. Watson is contracted
2. Henderson played forward all year so he isn't behind Henderson.
3. I don't it would be a trade Carlton would want - simply because as Lyons is uncontracted and looking for more opportunity we can probably get him for cheaper without giving up a contracted player.

Looks like we"ll let port do their usual pay bugger all for a first rounder yet again.

How were we in with a chance at getting Polec last year?

He wanted Brisbane to be compensated, so he wasn't going in the draft, any player we could give up, Brisbane didn't rate; so we were never in the race. How about we look at our own needs instead of having an imaginary race with Port to sign folks

Would rather use Jarryd Lyons to get a position of need. Ie. Mobile Key back or Ruck depth.

I posted a question in the Locker room about Siggins. Watched his 18s reel and he looks the perfect foil for Talia and Hartigan. Anyone watch much of him this year? With Otten out for a year, and question marks over Shaw, that really only leaves us with Siggins, L.Thompson, or the Hail Mary conversion of LJ or JJ to key backs (both unlikely)

Still so skinny. Has all the skills though.

Needs to put on some weight, though muscle is easier to gain for guys when they reach their 20s, hopefully a big P/s in the weights room will get him up to 93-94 kgs

Gee I wish Redhorse would hurry up and post - "We have our man" and then leave it at that.

This forum would explode in to about 300 pages a day!! :D

Between the big fish and dream coaching panel, we are getting our hopes up very very high.

It's going to be one pissed supporter group if we end up with Robinson as our big fish and Bolton as our coach!!

So the old take what crap we offer or PSD, Gotcha

Well....it's not like you guys don't have form doing that with us.....but I was trying to avoid bringing that up :p

I'm just saying history shows that an uncontracted player who is not an established best 22 player, generally gets to where he wants to go (who knows if Lyons even wants to come to us/we want him) for less than he would if he were contracted.

IF JC met with the Crows, how on earth has this not hit the headlines?

Was it a Skype interview? Was it planned he was coming during our week of controversy as a foil.
