No, I wouldn't go that far, though it's certainly possible he ends up being, especially if he has another interrupted preseason. Plus Rankine coming aboard does make things harder for Luke, as his likely pathway into the side is starting as a half forward.

More, he's just hot and cold in the most literal sense. Has the ability to change the course of a game in a 5-10 minute stretch, equally can go long periods without being involved, regardless if he's playing midfield/half forward at this point. A cold game is going to see him shunted towards half forward flank. He'll probably get a fair bit of midfield time if he's hot.

What a game that was, and the game I was convinced Trengove was going to be a star. Then Neeld made him captain of a shit side in his 3rd season and then never recovered from that foot injury. What could've been .

I don’t get the forward move then. We’ve had ample opportunity to just give him a 6 game stretch on the ball. Might be a huge pre season for him because if he can’t get a regular spot next year it might be time to cut the losses, which would suck because I think he is the exact player we need in the middle. Looks strong but also has break out speed from a stoppage

Needs to have an uninterrupted run at it. Not enough info in a footy sense, body a concern. Look how far behind Berry and Sog he is.

I was getting nervous there for a while but has come on a lot in the second half of this year. Used to do one, two or 3 things a quarter and be missing the rest of the time, now does 4-8 good things a quarter, is missing for much shorter periods of time.
