Pedlar - wow - nice to know we have a player like him waiting in the wings. Looks a natural midfielder to me. If he builds a tank he could be anything. Nice mix of inside/outside player.

Taylor - Very promising. Wish he was 5 cm taller and 10 kg heavier.

Gollant - X factor, love his aggression. Didn't do much.

Frampton - Would hang onto him as insurance especially given kpp stocks are very thin.

Strachan - I like him. Wish we would see more of him at AFL.

McAsey, Cook, Borlase, Newchurch, Davis - not AFL standard

Sholl - welcome to Carlton.

Turner - goer, abit of mongrel. You can do worse than keeping him on the list for another year.

Nicks has definitely installed a nice blend of aggression/mongrel in this squad.

I think Frampton is off. OOC. No one in their right mind is taking Sholl. Taylor's height is fine. Same height as Lachie Neale. He will put weight on, give him another preseason.

His height is fine provided the rest of the midfield aren't also the same height or smaller.

Why didn’t McKenzie ever play AFL?
