Really pleased with how a couple of our ‘23 recruits played today. Obviously Hill, but also Mitchell and without McStay last week we probably wouldn’t have been in the grand final.

I’d say some of that is luck but some of it is having an intimate understanding of your vulnerabilities and going out and addressing it.

Looking for 2024 we are probably looking to get a reliable big key marking forward and some cover for Pendles and Sidey who may need to be nursed through the year a bit.

2023 same. We lost regrouped and won.

Lions are a great side and not far off (obviously) nothing but respect for them and their coaches. Unfortunately didn’t go their way. But they’ll get one in the next 1-3 years imo

I get the issue is that its not always umpired to the rules. Like when Warner boots the ball into the crowd after Richmond got a free kick and the siren went last year. The umpire brings in some common sense clause so we dont get 50. If they just stick to the rules there wouldnt be an issue and the advantage is clearly the right call by the rules here.
