Biggest ever comeback in a grand final at 3/4 is 24 points in 1984. They’d want to be a bit closer I’d reckon.
Maybe, but it's all mental. They'll both be knackered at that stage with the heat, in this scenario.
The crowd starts "Coooollingwoood, Coooollingwoood", get a quick goal or two, and tired Lions could try and save it, which won't end well if 20 points up with 15 minutes to go...

The advantage was shit and should have been called back, but Brisbane had 22 to 16 free kicks, along with allowing Collingwood 57 to 43 inside 50s. And 60 to 49 intercept marks Collingwoods way. And finally 73 tackles to 53 Collingwoods way.

The better team on the day won.

Andrews?

The one who Champion Data rated as Brisbane's third best player?
Daniher was good. Charlie was good. Bailey and McCarthy kept you in it. Rayner, Berry, Neale, Hipwood and others had ordinary days but Hill, Cox and Mitchell had their best games for the season. Crisp is very good but he was super today as well.

Was it loud inside the stadium? Because channel 7's coverage made it seem like there were about 15k there, with their penchant for dulling out the crowd noise. They seriously need to buy some effects mic's.

What does this mean?

Rayner is a best 22 player who just didn't have his best day.

Frampton was only selected because he's tall. Quite literally no other reason. Wasn't selected because of ability or a hunch he'd perform. It's the most hollow premiership medal in league history aside from James Jordan who didn't take the field.

Even Cam Mooney gets a pass for his 5 minutes of statless fame in 1999, because he was never given another opportunity to impact the contest.
He was given a task to shutdown the oppositions key interceptor and he did so admirably.

Andrews had zero influence on the game.

100k people were there and it was within a couple of kicks for all of the two hours. Going to guess it was very loud

Every other broadcaster of every sport would be pumping up the crowd noise but channel 7 is built different
