Wasted a lot of our 64 i50s, feeding it down the throat of StK defenders. If McStay stayed out there, we probably would’ve won by about 6-7 goals.

St Kilda still haven’t beaten anyone. Will be interested to see how they fare against the likes of the Cats, Dees and even Blues then Port next couple of week. Not too hard being 4 and zip when your first few weeks are against the likes of rubbish and out of sort sides like Suns, Freo and Doggies.

First real challenge, and you are 4 goals down with just 6 on the board until a few junk time goals get kicked when the game was over.

A team that has demolished another side in the second half then gets 4 goals infront against a side that had only managed 6 goals for the previous 3 quarters and 3/4 of the last. You guys then getting 3 goals in quick succession was a solid effort, but we’d already put the cue in the rack. Why would the Pies keep attacking when the game was already done and dusted by that stage?

The margin was 25 points with less than 2 min of playing time left. The game was over.

Demolished in the 2nd half then gets 4 goals up in the last quarter? Goals were level at 3 quarter time so demolished? We kicked 3.6 to 4.0 in the last so demolished? You had a lead of some sorts at 3 Qtr time and a pretty good lead in the 4th after we missed some shots and which we whittled back. Sure after Dropkick Murphy shot himself in the foot. Your pressure and tackling was much better than ours, and your more skilled players less fumbly that's where you won it.
