Hawks Team Wish List

FB: Hardwick - Frost - Grainger-Barras
HB: Impey - Weddle - Sicily
C: Amon - Day - Ward
F: Reeves - Nash - Newcombe
HF: Long - Greene - Breust
FF: Moore - Lewis - Brockman

Interchange: C. Macdonald - Worpel - Scrimshaw - Wingard

Sub: Ramsden

IN: Lewis, Ward, Day, Weddle, Ramsden (sub)
OUT: Lynch (Concussion), Mackenzie (Managed), Mitchell (Omitted), Jiath (Omitted), Morrison (Managed)

Notes: Think Mackenzie looks a little gassed and needs a rest, IMO. Jiath’s decision-making has been ordinary as of late, needs time in the twos. Mitchell looks good but want to make room for others who are performing at VFL. Long really just survives because his height and tackling pressure have made Hawks look a lot more balanced. Morrison out because I want to see if this backline can organise itself (Frost, Hardwick, Impey, and Sicily should be enough leadership in that line).

Ward in, think Ward has the potential to replace Morrison as a leader / organiser but needs a chance. Lewis and Day obvious ins. Weddle and Ramsden are ins as reward for good form in twos (want Ramsden to play alongside Lewis to ease him into it).

Weddle and Ramsden ? Ssshhhh 🤫🙂

Have won 3 of last 4

Beat Brisbane as well. Going ok the Dogs, going a fair bit better then your boys so I think they’ll win comfortably.
We are going ok. One horrible half in the last 4, the rest has been decent footy. Bit of luck and we are 3-3. Lewis coming back should help in our biggest problem area.

Are they? Just scraped over the line against Richmond, lost to Port and got on top of Freo who are going as bad as anyone.
It’s just because of how truly awful we looked in the opening two rounds. I would’ve put us at bottom 2 quality prior to round 3, whereas now we look middle of the pack

Happy to see Fergus Greene getting a clear run at it. Was always on the fringe at the Dogs

Hawks were bloody unlucky against Crows, getting bettere ach week. And we have a really bad habit of losing the games we should win

Wouldnt be surprised if this is closer than people expect, but should still be a dogs win.

Young Seamus Mitchell is a player for Hawthorn!
