I’m disappointed, any team’s fans are when they lose, but I’m not going to tear my hair out over it. We were never expected to get this far, we gave it a great crack, and were beaten by a better side, and dozens of neutrals seem to be celebrating like their own teams have just won a flag

I have to say Brisbane were genuinely brilliant. Thought they'd fall apart after Oz went down but they kept on truckin'. Lohmann is a superstar. Andrews brilliant as always. Thought we'd get over them but we just couldn't stay composed

Glad to see a team get rewarded for knocking on the door repeatedly. Can’t really say I have a preference for next week. I have mates that go for the swans and as a kind of similar side to Geelong in that they are always thereabouts I have a lot of respect for them.

Similarly the Lions have continued to press and were so close last year. Deserve another crack at it and fully deserved the win tonight. Well done mate and hope you enjoy the next seven days

Look on the bright side I guess....at least the "Vic Bias" discussion will be quiet for a while. If Geelong ended up winning then no doubt the "Vic Bias' talk would of happened again
