They are pretty easy to score against but this is the first time in years where it looks like there are actual patterns of play with North.

Some good signs.

Nup. Tom Green has slaughtered the Oppo by himself.

Way too unselfish by Hogan.

nmfc are getting the Umps call.

Was not aware they got priority pick ump bonus.

North have a good midfield and forward line, very competitive. But their defence is surely the worst, or at least bottom 3, in the comp. They have no stars or winners down there.

Their high draft picks past two drafts + LDU & Larkey is a damn good core
They need some tall backs. Add someone like Lewis Melican, who decided to stay, and it looks a bit different. Has to be the focus in the off season - trade in a tall defender, and a quality intercept defender.

Fisher is like a smaller version of Frost.

Real heart in the mouth stuff when he has ball in hand.

He's currently stinking up my Supercoach team.

You picked Fisher? Almost deserved sorry had to say it

Yeah North trading Ben McKay and Griffin Logue being injured has made their big body key defender stocks even weaker than last year.

Key forwards would be licking their lips against them.
Yeah going to be scored against alot this year. Simpkin would have been handy today to offer some sort of defensive mid

Midfield being so young plays a part too. Development will presumably focus on their attacking instinct that got them into the AFL. The bodies aren't there yet for really good defensive pressure in the middle across the board - obviously a few can do it, but a few get their tackles broken easily as well.
