Multiplat AFL 23: Launch Thread (Xbox release date TBC)

STATE OF PLAY:

• The game is out for Steam and PlayStation. There have been issues with Xbox release and it is unclear when the game will be available.
• Big Ant are aware that there are playability issues & bugs at present.
• Content has been temporarily removed from the game to identify where the issues lie.
• This content will be re-introduced via patches in the coming days.
• Big Ant have released a summary of what is to be reintroduced, which can be seen below.

Just downloaded, it said patch 1.006

Same contents different patch number for ps4? Lots of crashing just tried to boot up a play now game to test, 3 crashes in a row. The guide section is nice, good to know more about marking timing and right stick function when trying to evade.

Patch numbers will differ across Steam, PS4, PS5.

There has been a big focus today on stability, hoping tonight's patches are less of an issue.

I was able to mold a face in Live 1. In 23, it only gives a few options. Is there something like a position, tilt, separation, and depth option in 23?

I've played a game or two this afternoon. A couple of times i kicked before the siren of a quarter/game and the goal hasn't counted. would there be a chance we can get that fixed BigAntStudios in a coming patch?

Playing on camera side normal, it’s really difficult to tell a difference between guernseys sometimes in twilight/afternoon games

My cousin has lent me his ps5 whilst he’s away and then moving house. AFL23 is still in the wrapper he said he was waiting until it got patched to try it so he said go for my life so I’ll give it a go tonight if it installs quickly otherwise I’ll try a few games out over the weekend.

I and a lot of others on ps4 only have 1.06 not 1.07

I'm still finding this game super hard on Easiest.....I was right in it for the first half then 3rd the CPU just seemed untouchable and went on a massive goal streak.....Granted it's a lot to do with me being ass at the game but just find "easiest" is exactly easy at all

How do you pinpoint a particular crash when nearly 85% of the things that happen in this game cause crashes???? Pretty humorous
