Especially with how it's been run this year - not sure how happy players are sitting in various function rooms around the country for 3 hours just so the AFL can enjoy unnecessarily extending this coverage

Way to many breaks after a few rounds is dragging this way longer than it needs to be

I also had a 17 leg multi, $30 on it to win 1.1k. Hit 16/17 legs. Only leg that missed was Menegola 10+

Plays on the wing and was his first season playing at the level he did - umpires can be slow to catch on

I guess set shots are not sexy enough for goal of the year but the Newnes one in context kills that.

yes agree with that. There was a GWS goal by I think Sam Gray ( I think that’s the name) that was amazing. He toe poked the ball out to himself Then in the boundary he dribbled a banana through. Maybe at Optus stadium. Was a great goal.
daics maybe got it through name and it was the winning goal against the swans.

Geez he polled well, 31 votes in a shortened season...
Am I the only one who thinks he is very much over-rated? 1 goal assist all season from the Brownlow Medalist and MVP?!
Seems to be the old fashioned midfielder who gets lots of the ball but does very little with it in general.

Take last night for example - he had 24 disposals & 158 super coach points, both which were match highs

Does anyone think he was the best player or most influential player out there in the prelim final?

And just to further question the validity of super coach points - Linc McCarthy had 107 which was the 4th highest and more than all Geelong players except Hawkins & Duncan. Sorry but I didn't really notice him & no way he was better than the likes of Ablett, Henderson, Parfitt, Menegola etc

We are The perfect example of that!
We fall short of when we rely on 1/2/3/4 players but get to the GF when we look to an even contribution.

Take a look at the final quarter of the Prelim...Neale was immense....He would have got votes from me, but not BOG...

And with Brisbane it's not exactly a case of stopping Neale & you stop them, but rather you limit the impact of the supporting cast because Neale can't do it all on his own
