Don’t worry, N. Daicos got 2 votes when we beat Collingwood late in the season - he had no coaches votes that night, with Danger getting 9, Miers 8 & Holmes 7, but come the Brownlow it was

We seemed to have been robbed of a few matches in which we were clearly the team in control across all 4 quarters

It's just so hard to take it seriously. It's clearly unrelated to on field impact. Just smoking something

True that- Cripps completely carries them at present- if Walsh and Cerra could get healthy, he'll get some help.
Treloar has evidently had a great season too.

I think Treloar’s season was underrated and he’s still somewhat view in a negative light more so because of how he ended up at the Bulldogs - but he’s a very vauable player when he’s on

He used to burn it a lot but i think he's improved a lot since going to the dogs

It’s ridiculous umpires are still the ones doing the voting for the Brownlow. Take it out of their hands, than can barely umpire the game as it is, and have a panel for each game who’s job is to watch the game and vote for who were the best players on the ground for the Brownlow count.

This is going to be the story of Naicos' career. So long as he is on the ground somewhere vaguely in the vicinity of the umpires, they're going to give him votes. I've never seen a more disproportionately hyped player by the media and the umps. It's a joke.

Wasn’t Heeney the Brownlow favourite prior to his suspension?

Obviously he’s now getting a few late consolation votes when it’s all over, but he stopped getting votes in like round 10, so wouldn’t have been close even without the suspension

And why don’t we do what they did at the VFL B&F awards night last week - once the count was at the point of Brew’s not being able to be caught, they called the count off after round 17 and then showed the final tally rather than unneccesarily going through 4 rounds of vote counts

Maybe they need to look at that for the future
