Even though the score does not show it the hawks had to really work hard for the ball on sat. Souths had great pressure on the ball and it looked like hawks struggled often to find clear targets. Even with that hawks did well to get the score they got. Souths player coach was all over the park working hard he would have racked up a few possessions. But the hawks boys are really looking like a team they flow through the whole park Sometimes and u can really see they are a jelling and are all mates. With boys still to come back they are looking like they will be hard to stop. Go the hawks. What did u think of the game teamwork?

Great skills there plugga..... You put a lot of work into that. i wonder if your mind and eyes would of been playing tricks on you imagining a few of those seagulls roasting away, you did put in a big effort and would have deserved a little treat for yourself. Hmm not really, i just hate seeing 1 person get chastised week in week out. The guy is doing a good job with what he has at souths, he trys his heart out each and every game. Give him a break, why dont you guys turn your attentions to someone else in the league who is willing to have a go. Seems to me its a bit of tall poppy syndrome, looking to cut people down to make yourself feel good. Here is a good topic, if cairns is to put a neafl side in to the state comp who would make a 35 man squad. Lets talk about these sorts of topics

JackBlack I thought it was a good display by a well oiled Hawks machine. There was the opportunity to try a few new things and they did them well. The Cutters had few shining lights, although as you say they worked hard at pressuring but just couldn't contain a very even Hawks team.
Port look the team of the round though. They smashed an injury ravaged Saints line up. Viola stated that young McCartney took care of Kennedy? And I see Jesse Dixon was best on ground.

Jesse will be a great inclusion... as for McCartney taking care of Kennedy?? maybe however because of Poynter being out Kennedy was playing CHF when he is best across half back and the delivery wasnt very good to any of the Saint fwds.
As I stated before the two Shaws were best on the ground but they had plenty of mates who ran all over the Saints.
Powell, Harth, Poytner, Hallas, Hislop, Finn, Davies, C. Phillpott and Ragless to be back for finals though I wouldnt go printing any premiership t-shirts if I was Port or Hawks.. still a 3 horse race although if the Saints were a horse they would be put down by now with the amount of injuries..

Plugg3r you amaze me with your skills and brain power. Not only can you not spell Plugger correctly, but you also manage to Photo Shop with one hand whilst you have your other hand playing with your old fella. Perhaps you could put your pic on here and photo shop the head of a goose on your shoulders. This pic shows the apparent level of maturity that you may or may not have. C'mon mate from the outside its quite funny. If i used the ball aswell as he does i would be sitting on the outside getting it fed to me 2. That's his strength so thats how he plays. Not everyone is a tough as nails wins the hard ball player. Every team needs their outriders who use the ball well.

Personally I think that is quite inappropriate,
if you are not carrying on with others from all clubs
----make it a series then in might be funny.
I had a bit of respect for Plugger3, you were looking at joining us at the start/ or made inquiries,
But now you have belittled yourself & your age mentality,
GIVE the man a chance, Chris is a good friend of mine since he came on board & will back him, he has tried to improve Souths & football in general here in Cairns, why did he make the local Rep side if he was just a seagull, Andy Viola ( an astute coach ) wouldn't have him as a player in the Rep. squad if he thought this & all, most of you want to bag him, you should be ashamed of the rubbish you put him through or are some of you Blatant jealous of some of his abilities & your short comings
(at least the club has won more games & have been above competitive compared to last year when we were under Robbie Douglas, even his own sons were members of the squad of 16 that walked out on the club, a few even signed contracts, then left & refused to be coached by him & their old man, it was not because of money, they were offered enough, but most were greedy, yes we tightened the reins but there was enough around for all)
Steve Symonds was our choice of coach till loured away to NTFL & fantastic career move for him, because Cairns AFL (you know who) pissed farted around about the job offer here.
Chris only applied as assistant coach & was awarded with that by the 5 member selection panel, till thrown in the deep end, he then accepted the upgrade in roll after assurances he was up to the position of Head Coach of South Cairns by Steve S, Lance the Pres, (alias the Penguin) plus the rest of the Selection panel & committee.
Haha come on mate it was meant as a joke, though the series name would be a fun idea.
I'm looking foward to lance the pres's head on a penguin body... But seriously if u have a problem with that chill the **** out and stop taking life so seriously.. And if u read back u will see I'm tha 1st 2 defend cadams... Seagulls are insulted bye ur insinuations that they are degrotory
