I was waiting for this line to start as soon as the result looked obvious (which was very early despite a spirited comeback by Juggs in 3rd Q). ADFA took their chances and ran out deserved winners although if the Bidgee boys had kicked a few straighter it might have been more interesting than the 4 goal difference at the end.

First of all great win to the Jets over the paper champions, good to see the Yass blokes can handle the pressure of the big games. And BH didn't realise your job was done once you kicked 100 goals, finals are pretty important as well
Don't know about that Sippa. The boys came out in the first half very flat and when you play a quality side like ADFA you cannot be off your game. They kicked 8 goals to nil by half time which is just ridiculous for us. We just didn't want the ball as much as they did in the first half. Waz gave the boys a huge spray at the half time break which gave them the spark they needed to kick 6 goals to 2 in the 3rd. We then kicked another 3 goals to their 3 goals in the last to win the second half 9 goals to 5 but it was way to late. Congrats to ADFA boys and good luck next week. I can't see the Jets staying with ADFA next week. For me it was certainly a disappointment not to play yesterday but if your not 100% going into a final then you should make your way for someone who is.
FP - If my body could keep going mate then I would have played the final game. I have a bolged disc in my back that flared up in the Tuggers game and I can't really walk at the moment. Finals are more important than 100 goals and I would give up all those goals to have played yesterday.

The Jets legs are far from tired at this point. The kick in the ass is what we might have needed. As I said earlier, expect a bit more passion, you can be assured we wont die wondering this week!

I was at the jets yass game. Just wanted to say it was a piss poor effort from the jets runners and bench they ran on the field and got involved in a bit of niggle between two players leave it up to the players/umpires on the feild to sort out.
Also one jets supporters absolute idiot he ripped into a yass player about stupid things and then got into a yass women/supporters swearing and just saying rude things that did not relate to footy at all!!!!!

Speed Racer - I didnt see it as I was warming up but all I heard was there was a biff and then a Yass player spat at either a spectator or player, not sure which. Either way noone wants any of that shit in what has been a great year.

SR I too was watching and from what I saw, The Jets bench players, runners and coach all running on cheering with their arms in the air celebrating and to meet up with the boys when the stuff happened, I don't think anyone should have got involved and only saw 1 punch thrown, the first one. Everyone else (both sides)was trying to just keep everyone separated and at peace.
There is no need for that type of thing to go on especially after the siren. From my own observations frustation more than anything got between the 2 sides. They both have a healthy respect for each other and their abilities and I have little doubt Yass will account for the Pies this coming weekend which will provide some entertaining footy come GF.
As for the side line antics the player who confronted the spectators also tried to unsuccessfully spit on the spectators and it wound up on his own spectators, not only is this disgusting but also very uncalled for.
On a side note are the finals this weekend being played at the same ground?? Will be interesting to watch.

Was the punch from yass or gungahlin.The finals this week are at manuka see the pies only having one team involved this week cant play some of those who played last weekend.
