Greater Western Sydney v Collingwood

7 - Jesse Hogan (GWS)
7 - Callum Brown (GWS)
5 - Tom Green (GWS)
4 - Brent Daniels (GWS)
4 - Lachie Whitfield (GWS)
2 - Nick Daicos (COLL)
1 - Josh Kelly (GWS)

Given that the coaches MVP was Cameron, one can only assume that Kingsley gave Nick the 2 votes and that Fly voted for 5 GWS players.

Looking at the split up it seems like this:

Green 5 and 0

Brown and Hogan One got 5-2 the other 4-3

Daniels and Whitford - One got 4-0 the other 3-1

Nick Daicos 2 and 0

Kelly 1 and 0

Interesting that Green was voted best by 1 coach and not voted by the other, whilst one of Daniels and Whitford was judged 2nd best by 1 coach and not in the top 5 by other.

Collingwood v Sydney

10 Isaac Heeney (SYD)
5 Chad Warner (SYD)
5 James Rowbottom (SYD)
5 Nick Daicos (COLL)
5 Errol Gulden (SYD)

You would be hard pressed to find another player besides Naicos, deserving of 1 vote in our team at the moment
Cameron in opening round is pretty much it, but tough to dislodge any of those that polled.

Think the coaches have it right this far, but we haven’t played a sooky Scott coached team yet.

St Kilda v Collingwood

10 Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera (STK)
5 Jack Steele (STK)
5 Jack Higgins (STK)
4 Rowan Marshall (STK)
3 Max King (STK)
2 Marcus Windhager (STK)
1 Jamie Elliott (COLL)

It’s amazing that we could only get one vote out of a possible 30 in the coach’s votes, and yet we still only lost by 15 points.Imagine how we would have gone if we’d had just a few more good players?

Brisbane v Collingwood

9 Jamie Elliott (COLL)
9 Lachie Neale (BL)
5 Nick Daicos (COLL)
3 Tom Mitchell (COLL)
2 Hugh McCluggage (BL)
1 John Noble (COLL)
1 Billy Frampton (COLL)

Collingwood leaderboard:

12 N. Daicos
10 J. Elliott
3 T. Mitchell
1 B. Frampton
1 J. Noble

Good to see that Frampton and Noble getting votes, but same old as Nick Daicos leads the way again for us.

Pretty much led our votes for the whole year last year.

Fagan:

Fair effort 👍

Only one I’d have a different opinion is that I think Fagan would have been likely to credit Frampton with his shutdown job on Daniher.

12 votes in 4 games for Naicos is unusual to see. Well below par for him....😝

Think these are about right.
Yeah I think they got our players pretty right.

The only one that surprises me a little is Amon, but I guess on reflection he was pretty good later in the game.
