haha you named 1 83k defender.
Pfeffier seemed to do well in preseason, but is injured, look out for him as perhaps someone to downgrade to.
Urquart has been talked up a bit to step up with no sinclair or JWS.
S. D. Thompson has had a great pre season, could get a game for same reasons as Urquart.
Jake Edwards, great preseason and plays fwd.
You also have Rance, Spagher, Neagle and Pears. However, while the last 4 may get some game time, they are very defensive, so not the best for DT, but at least they should play, eventually.
Exactly as Hard Ball Get said, no one really knows. A few names that have stood out for me is S.Thompson, H.Taylor, Ibbotson, A.Hartlett and J.Edwards

im on my final player and the only two i can afford who i am considering are barlow and ellis (wanted begley but just miss out)-i am leaning towards barlow but am open to suggestions. also, what are your thoughts on rivvy and his kneww problem-is it worth upgrading him to pav? id prefer rivvy but if his knee will hinder his performance than of course im willing to change.

He is priced at 95 now, so if that's what he averages then he maintains his price. If he averages 100, he increases his price by 22K. If he averages more, he increases by more.
Having said that, history says he won't average 100 because he has averaged between 88 and 95 every year since 2001. But if you want a rock in your backline he is it. He's missed 2 games in 7 years.

Might not be that much of a problem, its not like Dangerfield who is in a different state. Remembering Luke Ball played 16 games in his first season while doing year 12 (the 6 he missed were through injury)

Depends where else it hurts you. There is plenty of depth in the centres, not else where.
Bit of a different question, I am deciding between Pavlich, Roo and BJ I know that they will all average around the same, the question is who do you think will be the most "unique" of the three? (in terms of amount of selections)

Ellis missed his first season due to a season ending foot injury, not because he wanted to stop afl to focus on school
Everything else remains the same, just that i can save some money in the bank.
Its mainly my ego holding me back, cos i just know these boys are gonna fire up and i can gloat when they are the cheapest playesr to be averaging 100+
