I know this is being laboured a little but there are two spots in my team I cannot for the life of me settle;

1. My third premium forward (after Pav and Brown): BJ, Reiwoldt or SJ

At the moment I've got SJ but am not entirely confident he is going to back up last year. Reiwoldt would have been a lock but his injury is turning me off. Atm I'm leaning to BJ, his consistent scoring being the major drawcard.

2. My fourth back (after Cornes, Milburn and Shaw): Birchall, Waters, Newman or Guerra.

At the moment I've got Birchall because I think his scope for improvement is the best, however I'm not convinced it's going to happen this year. Guerra is very consistent but I can't see him averaging more than 75 odd, same with the other two.

Thougths? Cheers...

Teams not bad, but there is an entire thread dedicated to rating your team:

1. Brad Johnson, safety option. Riewoldt doesn't seem 100% and Steve Johnson a little more risky, still good though

2. Stick with Birchall, much more upside than any of the other you named in that he is still young and will improve again this year. Waters would be my second option, kind of a unique pick.

I still can't figure out why every single team has Cross. He's over 400K and he's not the K.Cornes/Bartel/S.Thompson league. Same goes for Salopek, every single team i've seen has him. Have i missed something Salopek still has Cassisi, Cornes, Cornes, Burgoyne, Burgoyne, Boak and Pearce to contend with.

Why does everybody have them. And i mean everybody.

I am quite confident your plan is to disrupt others from getting players you want yourself.

Cross has proven he averages over 100 and Salopek has been flying in the pre-season. We all know this. Funny your concerns over Cross' ability as a DT'er consider you barrack for the bulldogs.

Go get ****ed.

Calm down little one. Don't swear at me.

I wasn't saying they were poor selections. I was wondering why EVERY team has them - so much for a competition. I was alluding to everyone copying each other. You would think some people would take Hayes and Priddis instead. Who in my opinion are just as good options.

So go and get ****ed.

marc murphy or brock mclean

pretty much same price.

Murphy will cop less tags this year with inclusion of judd and stevens coming back. But will he also get less ball with these 2?

Mclean on the other hand, johnstone has left, does this mean he will cop the number 1 tag, or get more footy?

who would you pick?

J.Graham,D.Bell,C.A.Johnson(melb) - are backs that are cheap and could do alright

Does any1 know exactly how long the Nab games went for i think it was 17.5 mins a quarter but was there extra time each quarter and if so how long.

Murphy to start with however i feel mclean will avg more than murphy come end of season. If Bruce does what he usually does expect to see him with the number 1 tag following him. I would choose Murphy at the start as he as u said wont get tagged and Mclean will as Bruce wont play to much or well early and Mclean has shown he struggles with a tag

Well I haven't been reading this thread much lately and I though Salopek would be my own little unique pick.

Doesn't seem like it now

which is a better starting midfeld option

A: G.Ablett N. Jones Sherman N.Stevens Houli Coughlan

OR

B: Judd Stevens N.Jones X Clarke Houli Schammer

?

I love that everyone is picking Salopek he just makes our 22 and doesn't play much midfield with Pearce, Cornes, Cornes, S.Burgoyne, Rodan, Cassisi, Boak in their.

I just hope everyone keeps him and everyone that has Gram keeps him two because they will both struggle to average 70.

Shaun Burgoyne is the same price, im strongly considering him as well.

Agree with you about Salopek.

Gram though will be good this year. I went to the NAB cup GF and saw him absolutely clean up. It appears this year he is going to be a half back flanker that pushes up the ground and gets lots of possies. My opinion and i have him in my side...the only way you going to get someone that gets more points than him is if you spend another 75-100k-it just aint worth it.

first one but prismall or houli instead of sherman.

yeah i just wacked sherman in there because i feel that with TJ at the lions now it will free him up more and could be a breakout year like the one he had 2 or 3 years ago, though thanks for the opinion.

Yer because he can rack up 25+ plus goals and if he doesn't get that he usually goes forward and kicks 3 or 4 goals.

+ him and Lade have something going on in the forward line.

How many times last year did you hear ball up inside ports 50

lade taps it down to burgoyne

burgoyne snaps.

GOAL!!

I know i heard it at least 15 times.

Yer but Goddard will play that role when he comes back not Gram.
