Sorry, he's out this week.
Confirmed
rolled ankle; happened during the game (that's why he had so little TOG) - thought people knew already.

What do you guys think of this trade?
Embley---->M.Murphy
S.Johnson---->Chapman
didn't Embley have a great game in terms of stats (obviously no one in West Coast had a great game, other than Cox). both seem a bit sideways, just with some extra cash.

&

Not quite sure I see the point of it.
I know what you're trying to do as Murphy and Chapman are in better current form than the others, but give the others a chance. Watch what haapens with Embley, if the persist with him in the fwd line, that force your hand

I wouldnt have picked Johnson before Chapman, as SJ is more likely to go missing or get drunk and not turn up, but you've got him, so I'd give him a chance

considering 2 trades this week, t cloke down to j hill which will give me enough money to upgrade leunberger to cox. Think i realy need to get cox in, although cloke is a good player, thoughts?

Cloke rolled his ankle - teams named thursday to see if he'll be ready to play. if he doesn't play - easy decision. if he does, not too sure, because i understand why you'd want Cox (before his price increases even further). personally, i'm hoping Cox has a few bad games (as in scores of below 100 for once), so i can grab him when his price drops, which on current form, could be forever.

when deciding my trades this week, i realised by downgrading an underperformer to Hill, i'd still be $1000 short of upgrading Wood to Cox. so, looks like it'll be a long while before i can get Cox - and yes, should've just bought him before the season. my mistake.

What do you mean? He only needs 160 this week to break even.
yeh, but people wouldn't mind getting him much cheaper...

Watched the game and Im pretty sure he finished the game on the ground. First Ive heard of the injury.
guess i could be wrong. just thought it happened during the game, because he didn't get a lot of game time - thought it was because of that, which i heard about after the game.

I saw cloke roll his ankle on the Sunday Footy Show im pretty sure.

Im not sure whether its worth downgrading Hawkins or N.Thompson to Hill, thoughts?

I heard it as well mate. In fact, it might have been on Sports Tonight...
probably. i know that shows like the Sunday Footy Show didn't mention either Masten or Tippett's injuries, unless they thought too minor to consider - not surprised that players from non-victorian clubs weren't a focus though.

Ok what bout Boak---->M.Osbourne

I really need the extra cash so i can upgrade Stevie J to Chapman
wow, i didn't realise Boak was more expensive than Osborne. if Osborne keeps up the current form, it'd be a decent trade, but with returning players, Osborne could just as easily go back to scoring pretty much where Boak is.

60% TOG, most of it in the second half. No news of the injury on the WCE board.
ok, 60% is quite a bit, but from watching the game, i barely noticed him on the ground for that much of the game...and there is mention of it in one of the articles on the WCE board - i think it's a review of the game. it's only listed as an injury concern at the moment, so he may or may not be able to play this week.
West Coast now prepares for the Derby against Fremantle, with only Masten (rolled ankle) listed as an injury concern.

Being looking through everyone's expected trades this week and everyone is picking up Hill this week, my question is who is not picking up Hill?

I will not be picking him up this week, all my players in my foward line have performed so far and im not going to waste a trade to get him for one of my rookies on the bench because they are both peforming

No Hill for me this week and no trades either.
Very happy with my forward line structure of
Pavlich, Johnson, Riewoldt, Brown, Hall, Tredrea, Rioli/Tippet/Gamble
