Cloke will be better than monfries, set for a big year imo, his first half last week was fantastic in the wet..

Both guys you had suck so the trades are good. Murphy is a gun with Judd lagging behind but still getting the tag.

Depends on the rest of your cash cows... do you have 5 other cash cows that are going to make decent cash?

If yes, then you don't need to waste a trade on hill.

I've got Jones. And you've caught onto my reasoning - we saw last year that he is capable of playing the link-man halfback role = lots of kicks and marks. Plus, with Waters being rotated more through the middle he is playing more of a true halfback flanker role (rather than back pocket).

Newman has looked good so far, but I can personally vouch for Bonesy - so he's my tip.

This was only one game and it only happened after Adelaide started to kick there arsss and Mcloud was all over them. The week before he scored well and he is named HBF this week

Yeh about Bret Jones.

I am wanting to trade Mattner as i am unsure about him and how he will score.

I have 82,300 grand in the bank so my options are quite open.

I wanted to trade him for Gilbee but i fall exactly 3 grand short which is annoying. So i had a look at other options.

I have narrowed it down however to 3 options, Newman, Bock or Jones. Should i....:
A- Trade Mattner for one of the 3 players i have mentioned (and if so who)
B- Wait and hope Mattner gains 3 more grand than Gilbee and then make the trade. Or....
C- Leave Mattner and dont trade him.

I have the same problem - I'm thinking Jones. He's got the ball a fair bit and looked good. Either that or sit tight and maybe wait for a Burgoyne or use a rookie(?)

Spanner in the works is that Goddard is named this week - absolute DT superstar, but one should never pick someone coming back off a knee. Soooo tempting though.

Any Saints supporters know how Goddard has been in the Reserves this year?

Considering Monfries has been named, I dunno.

Monfries is a shocker.i would be looking to trade him ASAP as he was too overpriced to start with and will only give you 60 at best

Yeh i was thinking about that.....however if Mattner does increase by 3 grand more than Gilbee should i make trade?

Up to you really. Ive never been to crash hot on Gilbee - had him for two years and he is way to inconsistent for my liking. He is one I would watch for a fair few weeks before jumping on board. Needs to prove he will score at his average, not one game of 40 and one of 130.

I had the same question and have basically 90% decided on Murphy, could be a player that will stick around all year if he keeps up his form and if he doesn;t could be a straight swap + Cash to reilly when he comes back....

Just my opinion though!
