Hawks deserve to start favourites in tonight's prelim but I can't go past the Cats @ $2.90, especially as they dominated the Hawks in the first half of their last encounter + have the wood over them over the last few years.

Should be a cracker and hopefully the Cats can beat the Hawks or at least cover the +13.5.

Opposite me, I'm facing south Should start favourites, especially with no Carlisle, Fletcher and an underdone Bellchambers. Having said that, it's definitely a game you don't want to go too hard at considering what Essendon did to North in round 1, and the way they did it (North had no answers). But think if North win enough contested ball so they aren't choked of possession, they can stretch an undersized Essendon defence.

Our side was different in R1 no Swallow or Greenwood among others.
