The simple answer is that HFC Members shouldn't have to work Fridays.Wonder if they’ll ever realize this and trial starting 30-60 mins earlier as followed by a work day?
Not everyone works 9 to 5
I’d be looking for a new job if i continually took Thursday/Fridays off to go to the footy

We're the hottest ticket in the comp right now. Unless Carlton can recapture their early season form.
Correct.time to cash in.
helps attract players, staff, crowds, sponsors... not to mention the players love Broadway.
Hok in full flight vs the dogs reminded me of why I'm lucky to follow our club
Ive been based in Manila on and off for the past 3 years - can absolutely verify this!Haha.... just be glad that you don't live here.
Christmas time is celebrated during the -ber months.
Starts 1st of September
There are only so many halls that you can deck with boughs of holly.
I actually find it the opposite. Thursday/Friday gives you time to get over it and move on with actually enjoying your weekend.Thursday and Friday nights only suck when we lose. It's a long weekend to get through after that.
The walk of shame down the corridor at work on Monday after a loss. Nothing worse.I actually find it the opposite. Thursday/Friday gives you time to get over it and move on with actually enjoying your weekend.
It's Sunday, especially Sunday twilight which shits me when you lose. You're forced to wait all weekend (not to mention the week) to sit down and watch the footy all for it to be a loss. It's a crap way to end what might of been a good weekend up to that point and then it's straight back to work the following day to cop the ribbing from co-workers.
Just do the right thing and get to as many Thursdays as you can. If it was rd 22 Thursday night v Collingwood with a chance to lock a spot in the 4 you’d find a way to get there. 20,000 people found a way to drive to Adelaide for a Friday night final, we can do it
Dogs can’t sell out Showgrounds. We probably can’t either. Needs to be Carlton or Collingwood v Giants to guarantee a full house. But Blues are protesting and Pies were there last year.Wouldn't surprise if we get GWS in Opening Round. Brisbane get Geelong
GC get Collingwood
Sydney get maybe the Dogs
Could switch the Dogs and us as they sort of have a rivalry with both
Then Essendon R1, Port R2
Probably get the bye after Easter Monday so they can quickly put Geelong and us back to prime time games
The thought of Gold Coast away into start of the season Essendon scares me with all the added media expectation we have next year lol, would hate to see the media headlines if we start the season 0-2 (against two non finalists)I just don't want GC up there. We'd get smashed again.

I'd love GWS up there in opening round.
We exclusively play bangers against them. They've won 3 of the past 4. I'd say that record to about to start turning in our favour.
Any senior players suspended or just 2nds that most likely won’t make the best 22 first round? The Raiders are playing in that stupid Vegas experiment in the NRL - I wonder if the league might consider the Giants playing at Manuka in opening round as a result. I would relish taking them on there while they are depleted by suspensions.

The zone noone wanted - the saints were offered it, and then Richmond, then Melbourne... then usThe Mornington Peninsula zone?
I still don't understand why they can't just have a full round, but with homes games for the northern states to take advantage.
Why it's somehow better to only have 4 rather than 9 games (seeing as the other 5 games would take ZERO media attention away from them) is something only Laura Kane would explain with a straight face
