AFL Grand Final Ticket thread

Expressions of interest.

I am in hospital awaiting surgery on my elbow I dislocated and broken bones that hold it in place.

My flight leaves just after midnight tomorrow, like 30 hours from now. Return flight is Sunday around 6pm. Both with Tiger.

I'm not sure I will make it.

If i cant i will sell my cat 4 concession ticket at face value $289 if you buy the flight. Transfering flights cost $70 plus difference in flight value. Thinking the flights will be around $2k now. So for around 2.5k you get flights and a ticket. Can't tell for sure how much until it's done as these flights are now sold out.

I'm gutted. Just want my money back. Preference given to eagles member who missed out. Will know more tomorrow. If surgery first up I will wait n see how I feel afterwards obviously. Putting out feelers now as if it does happen there won't be much time to organise this.

I've sent you a PM. I would really love the ticket (if you can't go). I'm in Melbourne, so no need for plane tickets. Supporting West Coast 150% because of Adam Simpson and I loathe Collingwood :D

I just re-read the post after reading it quickly the first time (I was a bit excited, would really love to go to the GF). I didn't see that it was a package with the flights included. I thought he was saying you have to find your own plane tickets to Melbourne if you get the ticket.

This is what I read. Sell his ticket if you buy the plane tickets yourself, is what I thought.

Good for people who can pay that much, but I wonder how they avoid prosecution with Victoria’s anti-scalping laws stating that tickets can not be onsold for more than a 10% profit?

I guess they'll all be locked up and given life sentences, along with all the jay walkers, weed smokers and people recording tv shows. Gotta keep society safe!

No... those seats are worth no more than $400 face value.

They are in the AFL member reserve. Anyone selling them should have is their AFL subscriptions taken off them and given to people who actually love the game and want to attend, not just squeeze genuine supporters for 400% mark up on the price.
