Pretty pissed off that I can't stream games on my PC. How stupid is that? So I can watch games on my Galaxy Core which cost me $250 but I can't watch the games on my $2000 PC hooked up to a 55inch LED?
Genius. Why not go the WWE Network route. Stream from Phone, Tablet, Console and PC? Can't be that hard.

Nba gametime is a near perfect model the afl could replicate. Can watch on any device that has internet connection
Are you willing to use a DNS service? I use getflix which I paid $25 for 12 months that that allows me access to AFL global http://watchafl.afl.com.au/ which is $140 for the year..much better value than the mobile version and I got it playing on a 80" projector.

Ive only used it for this round but it appears pretty stable so far. No Drop outs or Freezes for myself but my connection can is 22mbps. It isn't HD quality but its pretty good, better than foxtel go but not as good as netflix.
You can try it by getting a monthly pass for $25 or weekly pass for $15, thats what I did and if it continues to be good I will get the yearly pass.
Don't need DNS just need google chrome with one of those addons that changes your location to overseas and it's free.
Apart from the lame attempts to block you from using it on a tv, the other shiteful features of this app include piss poor resolution and streaming quality by modern standards and a total lack of options for video size and quality. Most phones and tablets are 1080p minimum, yet the quality is significantly worse than Channel 7, and they suck. I look at the quality of steaming video with YouTube, Netflix and others and it really pisses me off that this is the best the AFL can do.
No surprises that Telstra is involved in this embarrassing app. The same Telstra that owns 50% of Foxtel and has a huge incentive to make the app a p.o.s. by comparison.

It's great, just use apple tv and it goes straight to your TV (50 inch if you have one).

Worked just fine on an Android phone (wifi and 4G) all weekend.
If you understand andriod technology you will be able to get your 55 inch to mirror your phone.
