As part of their broadcast deal with Foxtel they agreed not to stream over the Internet in Australia to PCs.

They may be able to change it in the next rights deal, but don't hold your breath.

Just tried screen-mirror from my phone to my new Smart-TV with the AFL app. Actually works rather well. Not remotely HD quality but very watchable, but then I grew up watching Scooby-Do cartons on a 30cm black & white TV. Certainly more watchable for me than staring at the mobile phone screen. Sound works too.

Any ideas how to fix it? Literally only does it on the watch AFL site and nothing else.

It's pointless but just has to do with how the online streaming rights work. Every game will always be live on a footyplay channel.

Yes, 720p. You can chromecast it, or connect your computer to the TV trhough HDMI.

In 2016, why that content's not available within an hour is baffling.
