Excited for the team sheets. Same feeling I had before the St. Kilda game in terms of where this season is heading. We really need to give Dids a run and it seems pretty obvious that Martin will get a run while Witts may be omitted (structurally I don't think he makes sense regardless of form).
Would like to see Johnson back in as well and Shaw

Perhaps Lynch needs a rest?

INS: Paine, Martin, Didak, Shaw, Johnson
OUTS: Witts, Williams, Lynch, Kennedy, Clarke

Pure guess, don't really care if I'm right or wrong I just can't wait for some discussion about teams and football and chasing that red or yellow thing around a big patch of grass.

My thoughts keep changing but I seem to come back to the same thing.
INS: Johnson, Didak, Martin, Shaw
OUTS: Witts, Clarke, Kennedy, Williams/Russell

B - Maxwell Brown Russell/Williams
HB - Shaw Reid Johnson
C - O'Brien Swan Martin
HF - Macaffer Lynch Sidebottom
F - Elliott Cloke Krakouer
R - Jolly Ball Pendlebury
INT - Seedsman Didak Blair Dwyer

Would hate to think Lynch would get dropped for a Paine inclusion. We need to make tall defenders more accountable rather than allow them the option of double teaming Cloke. Lynch for Paine would mearly be a like for like, not addressing our current issue.

Although this week may not really be the best test seeing as brisbane are already streached for tall defenders.

Likely:
In: Heater, Martin,
Out: Russell, Clarke,

What I'd like to see is Jolly rested so Witts can play first ruck. They are short their number one ruck and midfield so it would be a good time to throw him in the deep end. Then we could bring Paine in for Jolly and let Q play up the field and relieve Witts occasionally.

I'd also like to see Johnson back in but I am not sure I want to drop Williams just yet.

With the predicted rain it seems like the smart choice to leave Witts.

It's a shame though because without it it was probably the best suited game all year for him with Jolly not in the greatest form and Brisbane's KPD and ruck woes.

I guess we are leaving nothing to chance. We do need a big win tomorrow.

Well if it's going to be Wet then it does make some Sense that Witts would not play as he would be just to slow to play the 2 Rucks as we have.

Though he will Ruck in the VFL with Grundy - The Future

We play some weak sides coming up so I say Witts will play quite a Few Games coming up:thumbsu:

The ins and out are as follows. Dont ask how I know you will just have to wait until the team is realised tonight to see that I was right.

IN SHAW, DIDAK, MARTIN, AND EITHER THOMAS OR SINCLAIR
OUT WITTS, RUSSELL, WILLIAMS AND DWYER.

If you are right then I hope its Thomas and not Sinclair.

Oh well I guess if this is the case then all with blind faith of Didak get to see him live... Will be interesting although he is a career 'great of our club' he appears to have lost a bit of a step and has a real lack of defensive game now.

Really hope Dwyer isnt out. :(
I was critical of Dwyer for a while but his performance against Geelong earned him at least another 3-4 games you'd think, and it would be harsh to drop him based off one bad performance (he wasn't alone too).

Although Josh Thomas has been taken out of the side every time he doesn't crack 20 possessions, which has also been harsh.

I'd like to see Paine and Martin come in, a depleted Brisbane side gives us the chance to make a few statements at selection.
