If Wellingham put an arm up and attempted to get the ball he would have had no case to answer. Unfortunately he saw him at the last second and flattened him. It may be argued that he had no choice and tried to protect himself but it is not a good look in our game. He will go for 4.
I remember losing to the scum in round 3 by 10 goals.
I thought to myself it may not be the great year we had hoped for,especially with a few knee recos.
I thought there is no way we'd beat adelaide in adelaide,we were no chance against essendon,geelong were too good and west coast would smash us.
round 4-round 14....
win win win and win some more.
Even when others were saying sack buckley bring back malthouse.
Even when the haters were excited about collingwood falling down the ladder and writing us off.
Even when we were 14th on the ladder.
We still came out for 10 weeks showed some pride and won every single game.
Yes its ok to be upset about last night.I was upset. But we will be OK.There's no use going into panic mode after one loss.
I will buy my ticket for next week and wear my colours proud,because i am not fairweather,i stand behind the mighty pies and all that they stand for no matter what.you all should try doing the same.

Well said rhys! After 3 rounds and a heap of injuries, we proved everyone wrong. Although there is still a lot of season left.
Pies looked really out of sorts. It is hard to be up every week. I am worried about Reid. He looks a shadow of his best. Injuries to him are a concern. The young blokes will struggle against the bigger stronger sides as the season goes deeper. Thats normal. Getting games into them is GOLD!!
Take away Friday night (Carlton's Grand Final) and we're going well. The draw is tough. Massive games coming up. Just shows how close the season is. A little bit off and you will be picked apart. As Rhys said, we are all upset. Don't dwell on it tho. Round 15 is in the past. We have bigger fish to fry!!

Reid looked to me like he was one of the rumored players to have been struck down with the flu. He'll be keen to go against Puppy fat Hawkins again.
Hopefully, Collingwood is not playing him while injured. He is not the kind of player to make light of a persistent injury. He certainly looked ordinary at times against Walker.
I don't think using the word International was intentional...
Back to thread, they wanted the ball more than what we did. Umpiring was fine and we were lucky it wasn't 40+ points. Blues were the much better team.
Hampson going down was a godsend as it allowed for Kruezer to play alone in the ruck ... and he dominated.
keep hearing about this great interview buckley gave after the game to SEN cant find it on the web site anyone have a link to it?
