Im not claiming he's lazy.

Im claiming he is playing scared and not off instinct over thinking it all especially potential contact.

Playing a new role should not have you fumbling when trying to pick up a loose ball as i explsined in the other post.
It doesnt make you stop and brace for contact before a guy was even on him or in his vision. With his pace he could of continued on and dished off.

You're basically that he's too lazy to put his body on the line and commit to contact, and to assess his options. He's fumbling cause the pressure of playing further up the field. He knows that a turnover outside 50 could be disastrous. Also because he knows he has to make a decision once he picks up the ball. Inside 50, he basically knows what he's gonna do cause he's used to playing there, and because it's much simpler; cause it's either have a shot or pass it to a free teamate in space.
