I agree it it rains it is to collingwood's advantage remember '02 grandfinal...
It will definitely reduce our forward line power.

i do agree, and it has been a very wet day. not sure how much has fallen on the gabba tho. anyone live or work close by that can fill us in ?? im out around sandgate and its been raining for an hour or more now

Lions do very well in the wet, but for some reason a lot of talk around the trap over the last few years is that we struggle in the wet.

hopefully it doesnt rain during the match tonight at least. why did it have to rain today....silly weather
The lions of 01-04 did very well in the wet with the bash and crash style of play, I dont think these days we are a particularly great team in the wet, but we are not a great team in the dry.....
Wouldnt say it favours us more than them.
I am off to the game now to beat the rush, its raining pretty heavily now.

Hopefully the rain will clear before the game, just had a look at the radar, with a bit of luck maybe the rain will be gone before the game but rain seems to appear out of nowhere in brisbane during this time of year, the crowd will probably be down as a result.

Hold on.. how many players are playing tonight that played that game?? Black, Brown, Lappin, Notting, Power.
I don't think that stat really means a great deal. However to reverse over what I've just said, I do agree we aren't great in the wet. I hate to admit it, but Aker was the wet weather specialist.

Its good to see that, Brisbane has decided to let that young kid Henderson play tonight. This kid has potential.

What an insipid, atrocious and pathetic 3rd quarter. There is not a hope in hell we are top 8 material based on the crap we served up. I am staggered how bad we are at the moment

Not knocking the game mate - commenting how terrible that 3rd Q is and that if that is the level we are in trouble. Firts Q against the Eagles the same story - game is for 4Q's not 3, but hoping we still get up

A great finish, and to run out like that was brilliant after the last game/short week! Who would've thought that Browny would've struggled a bit towards the end (that is usually when he shines), but we had some other brilliant efforts tonight late.
