I don't think I've ever seen a full field zone so perfectly implemented and executed by a side as what the Lions did in the fourth quarter last night and that includes Hawthorn at their best in 2008.

It was an absolute fortress. It was magnificent to watch.

The 4th quarter zone was good, yep very good in fact.

However, it was the change to man on man at the kick in's during the third quarter that changed the game IMO.

Goodness knows we had enough times they were kicking in to get it right:eek:

 Number 4 does appear to be coming back from the dead.
Here's hoping we see a full blown resurrection.

Go Lions!
lets hope :D

Mum wasnt too complamentry with his beard - kept calling Trav, Osama......it was really annoying

Oh and speaking of lookalikes - Sherminator is a dead ringer for Casey Stoner! Which is good cause I love Casey as well!

I can’t remember 2 back men dominating 2 forwards so much only to have the situation totally reverse by the end of a game.

Yeah the amount of times the ball was coming down there. Coupled with Williams getting stretched and Lake coping a cheap one from Fev meant Morris and Lake were run off their legs in the last.

Especially with the Brown marks in the last quarter Lake barely chased and was huffing and puffing. Credit to your midfield they won the game for you.

Is it me or is Daniel Rich handballing more this season? With such a penetrating and accurate left foot I would love to see him kick more to brown and fev.

Had more kicks than handballs for the first time this year on the weekend

Man, what a great 2 and half quarters of footy.

Banfield is my new best friend. His kicks are little off but when he's in a pack you can count on him taking 3 or 4 cracks at the ball or its carriers.....and getting it out of there. He's like the super-crumber from hell. Always on his feet and just goes after the ball like a pitbull.

I wonder how he'd go in the center? His random spray kicking form would suit our forward line and the constant, unrelenting pressure he puts on carriers is what we need :)

Has anyone had any luck watching the replay on the AFL or Lions websites? Seems to be permanently buffering on mine, though I can get to the press conference and previous rounds ok.

It seems they only uploaded the first 10 minutes of each Quarter onto the site and forgot the rest. I'm not really surprised tbh, It's bigpond. Do we expect any better?
