FWIW i think Kelly could poll very well in the Brownlow this year. Has been brilliant to date.

I don't look at stats when doing votes.
Never have. How many did Hunt have? Wanted to give him a vote too.

Surely your joking.

Nope, he was good. But I'm not about to argue with you. You think Mackie had a shocker!

Yep. It is interesting how we see things. You gave Duncan 1 vote but Kelly did not come into view. Anyone who follows this forum regularly will know that I have serious man love for Mitch Duncan, and may need to seek diversion therapy soon. But I honestly could not have given him a vote on yesterdays performance.

What I do like about Menzel and Duncan is that even if they are struggling they cannot be kept out of the game and they manage to bob up and score goals.

Just look at the game then. Kelly had a massive influence in the midfield, and laid some ripping tackles too.

Definitely voteworthy. :thumbsu:

Yeah I know. I don't know why I do it. Sometimes I give a 1 vote to a player as a sort of recognition vote.

Do you think a couple of cheap kicks while standing by himself and then just bombing it in long warrants a good game.
If you can gain a copy of the replay and watch him closely you will see the fumbles under pressure, the kicks in hope out of the backline, the unaccountability and not to mention the inept attempt to hold out an opposition player that cost Selwood a goal.

*sigh* Mate I have only EVER watched one game twice
I think the selection committee are a tad smarter than you. Thankfully.

Are we talking about selection?

I was commenting on his game against North and stating he was/is a liability in the backline. He should be playing up the ground more.
If anybody thinks he had a reasonable game on the weekend they are kidding themselves.

Not brilliant, but not bad either.

He was a bit below reasonable but i'm not going to argue on the matter anymore.
If he proves me wrong against Collingwood and performs admirably in the backline, against persistant forward pressure, doesnt fumble and uses teammates rather than kicking in hope in then i'll be happy.

This is the wrong thread moondog but I actually like a bit of the 'kick and hope' it makes us less predictable and 80% of our team are strong enough to win it up field.
