Probably, but sorta detrimental to the purpose of having a membership reserve if anyone can get in.Don't they always do that for large crowds?

yeah, that essentially means they can get into the bunton bar when thats meant to be reserved for afl membersProbably, but sorta detrimental to the purpose of having a membership reserve if anyone can get in.
I kind of get it. Club memberships are so large now and you don't want people locked out with seats going to waste, but I am not getting what I signed up for. I find it annoying that we increasingly need to book seats at $10.90 (plus booking fee) rather than just scan in. It adds up. They should leave a couple of bays each time for AFL members to scan in and they should also see out all other GA areas before considering offering up any of our seats.Probably, but sorta detrimental to the purpose of having a membership reserve if anyone can get in.
Is the bar any good? The last times I went (all pre refurb) it was just too packed. We really need more facilities in AFL members.yeah, that essentially means they can get into the bunton bar when thats meant to be reserved for afl members
The seats they've sold in those bays wouldn't have changed the level of seats available to AFL members for walk ups. It would still be back of level Q. After it got 89k last time this was always a book to get decent seats type of game.I kind of get it. Fair point. I just feel compelled to book a seat because the AFL often looks full this year. The seats they've sold in those bays wouldn't have changed the level of seats available to AFL members for walk ups. The AFL have won. This is what they want. Snot nosed nuffs coming into the reserve forcing "AFL Members" to buy tickets when they normally would never have needed to do so.Fair point. I just feel compelled to book a seat because the AFL often looks full this year.
The Bunton has been a shadow of its former self post covid.yeah, that essentially means they can get into the bunton bar when thats meant to be reserved for afl members
Well not surprising, considering its now a public barThe Bunton has been a shadow of its former self post covid.
You had pints and a variety of beer. Both on tap and bottle.Well not surprising, considering its now a public bar

Now it's basic CUB shit.
Gone are the days of Coronas, Crownies and ashais.
Covid ****ed the joint
Even that was on tap in pint form.I loved a cheeky cider on tap. It's just ratshit now.
Yep, i loved the true pints. Now they sell a Schooner at 25% more than what the pints wereEven that was on tap in pint form
From memory a pint was 11.50. Schooner 10.50 and pot 8.50Yep, i loved the true pints. Now they sell a Schooner at 25% more than what the pints were

16 July, like everything else AFL members, it is posted in the afl membership website.Any word on when Rd 20-23 go on Sale?
Covid forced us to buy seats for tracing purposes . Previously the pre paid seats were not in so many bays The afl didnt change them back post covid , so if yo want to sit in primer seats you now have to pre pay for seats. The AFL have won. Bravo AFL, ya campaigners
The reserve was sold out. What did you expect?so I went the game last night expecting to just scan in and find a seat up high or standing room.
nup, turnstile flashed red, so back outside.
jumped onto ticketek, bought a seat in 2A row D ($14.70)
great seat but I'm pissed off we are forced to pay ticketek just to get in.
there were so many spare seats last night, crowd was 81k.
absolute flipping scam.
No mate that isn’t how it works.it was never 'sold out'. that is the point.
they are blocking swathes of seats and telling us sold out to prevent walk-ups
then miraculously these seats are available hours before the game. at a cost of course.
system is sick
