Really? Because their website looks like it hasn't been updated in over a decade.
I can't wait for the meeting with the AFL membership manager on October 25 2012.

Yes it does,I know the Swans have the same dealDoes that include Anzac eve when Melbourne is the home side?
I wonder which other clubs have a similar arrangement.
Yes, I rang them last week to discuss GF allocation. They said they weren’t allowed to disclose numbers. They’re acting like a government agency, let’s hope Gil leaving changes the cultureWhen I signed up there was no corporate tickets or medallion club in the AFL Members reserve. It was for exclusive use for the AFL Members. Now they refuse to tell you how many seats are available for AFL Members.
I’d join.. they are treating this membership with utter contemptMany years ago there was an AFL Membership Association, think it died a natural death..
considering the lack of transparency, and generally whinging about dissolving of perks, maybe it’s time to create another voice for AFL members. With BF, a Facebook group, and other social handles you could gather the numbers to get some answers and accountability

I just wish they would come out, give us the numbers and own up that they are reducing out capacity whilst pandering to corporates. Don't treat me with contempt. Just be honest and say we're all about the money and the bottom line.Yes, I rang them last week to discuss GF allocation. They said they weren’t allowed to disclose numbers. It's pathetic and just as pathetic when governments do it. More and more corporate entities are behaving this way. Getting off topic but some companies love to tell you how they are making changes based on feedback, or to simplify things when it is obvious that is not the case. They’re acting like a government agency, let’s hope Gil leaving changes the culture

Came out in June I think. Is it true that the membership survey already came mid year?
I must have deleted it because I assumed it would come later in the season and that it was more junk.Came out in June I think.
I didn't do it this year but would be interested in the results

I assume they are not being honest, as they were advertising this mythical Gold membership that just kept expanding in years to achieve.
AFL Members are like mushrooms. Feed them s**t and keep them in the dark.
They will not release numbers.
Particularly on the GF tickets. The last time they released AFL member ticket numbers it was something like “between 10k and 25k” lol… very transparent.

I thought they released the GF allocations in the annual report? I remember one year it was around 13k and one year around 17k. It might have been from a leaked memo though? They will not release numbers.

100%!!GF Tickets are really the least of my concerns tbh. They've always been secretive so I can deal with that.
The actual number breakdowns of gold/silver by team is the stuff I really want to know, but realise won't even be released.
I am surprised it isn't released each year as a part of their AGM.
Entitlements/Contractual Obligations/AFL/Medallion club really take a nice chunk.found this online

I'd say Pies are close to 10k gold. They never give their memberships up and they were on like 8k in 2014.I reckon it's 13,000 tops in terms of tickets available for AFL gold members.
So if it's a Collingwood V Carlton GF, you'd imagine 11,000 - 12,000 will go to gold members of both sides, and the remaining 1,000 - 2,000 will be available for non competing gold members.
I could be off the money but that's I how I see it.
Based on 2010 published club of support and equal rates of dropping off, I estimate 11000 to 12000 Coll + Carl Gold members. SeeI'd say Pies are close to 10k gold. They never give their memberships up and they were on like 8k in 2014.
Blues probably 4k.
I assume no non competing gold will go in that scenario
I think you are correct.I assume if Collingwood make it some Gold AFL Collingwood members wont be eligible to buy a ticket though due to going in the club ballot instead? I have opted to register for the club ballot as I am also top tier club member and get a guaranteed ticket from the club. Has it always been this way? I am only going by the email the AFL sent last week.
Gold are capped at 30k, silver is uncapped
Are we sure?
I know they say it, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's been eaten away
