Is that your number from last year or some new number after this year's intake? Earlier in the thread people up to just over 1000 said they were offered Gold this year so maybe some of 2011 has been upgraded.

I emailed them a year or two ago asking for breakdown of club support numbers and they wouldn't give it to me, said it's not something they publish.

I rang them asking and the response was more guarded than the Victorian governments behaviour, colder than the Soviet Union at its peak.. it’s in dire need of a clean out afl house

Everyone would love to see them.

According to figures from last year, Collingwood still have only 7,000 gold members and the next most is 5,000.

Which makes me believe they do cap certain clubs and a silver member from the Bulldogs may jump a Collingwood member in the queue.

Silver Collingwood club support is still ahead of silver of any other club.

I would be comfortable for silver with competing club support and 10 years AFL member to be the same level as gold no club support.. I mean you would be close enough to the end and better to have more fans.
