These are the rankings I'll put to the test on Brownlow Medal night, and also in each club's best and fairest count. SO FAR

Crows - exacta
Lions - box trifecta
Blues - trifecta
Magpies - trifecta
Bombers - strike out
Dockers -
Cats - strike out
Suns - winner, box trifecta, first five
Hawks -
Demons - winner
Kangaroos - first four
Power - equal winner
Tigers - box trifecta
Saints -
Swans - winner
Eagles - equal winner
Bulldogs - winner, box first four

Marc Murphy, Chris Judd and Bryce Gibbs represents the first trifecta in order, while Scotland made it four out of five. Thus:

Best and Fairest count: 5 out of 7

Carlton: 1 Marc Murphy, 2 Chris Judd, 3 Bryce Gibbs, 4 Chris Yarran, 5 Heath Scotland

North Melbourne: 1 Andrew Swallow, 2 Daniel Wells, 3 Brent Harvey, 4 Drew Petrie, 5 Jack Ziebell

Happy with those Squida!

But.......

https://www.afl.com.au/news/newsarti...0/default.aspx

My pick, Selwood, finished sixth at the Cats, which is my worst result for the season, while the winner, Enright, I had fourth - also my worst result. However, when 16 votes separates first and 10th, there's no surprise this could happen.

As a result.....

Best and Fairest count: 6 out of 9

Jobe missed 6 games and was injured in 3 others. There's no chance of him winning our B&F. Stanton has it in the bag.

Could Watson be far enough in front to hold on Dona? He clearly topped the Bombers in the Brownlow.
It'll be interesting to find out.

As for me, I'm heading home to watch the live stream of the Bob Skilton Medal on my computer. Wish I could afford to be there! Maybe next year.

The Great Adam Goodes (surely he's done enough now to get that prefix) has won his third Bob Skilton Medal at the mighty Swans. No surprise to see Rhyce Shaw and Ted Richards poll well - their performances have never been as well recognised outside the club. But a surprise to see Jude Bolton not on the list.

http://www.afl.com.au/news/newsarticle/tabid/208/newsid/124796/default.aspx

This makes it: Best and Fairest count: 7 out of 10

Just bringing this list onto this page.

So, my club B&F predictions are:

Adelaide: 1 Scott Thompson, 2 Nathan van Berlo, 3 Bernie Vince, 4 Patrick Dangerfield, 5 Graham Johncock
Brisbane Lions: 1 Simon Black, 2 Tom Rockliff, 3 Jack Redden, 4 Matthew Leuenberger, 5 Jed Adcock
Carlton: 1 Marc Murphy, 2 Chris Judd, 3 Bryce Gibbs, 4 Chris Yarran, 5 Heath Scotland
Collingwood: 1 Scott Pendlebury, 2 Dane Swan, 3 Travis Cloke, 4 Dale Thomas, 5 Leon Davis
Essendon: 1 Jobe Watson, 2 Brent Stanton, 3 Dyson Heppell, 4 David Zaharakis, 5 Michael Hurley
Fremantle: =1 Nathan Fyfe, =1 Matthew Pavlich, 3 Greg Broughton, 4 David Mundy, 5 Aaron Sandilands
Geelong: 1 Joel Selwood, 2 James Kelly, 3 Joel Corey, 4 Corey Enright, 5 Jimmy Bartel
Gold Coast: 1 Gary Ablett, 2 Michael Rischitelli, 3 Nathan Bock, 4 David Swallow, 5 Danny Stanley
Hawthorn: 1 Sam Mitchell, 2 Luke Hodge, 3 Lance Franklin, =4 Cyril Rioli, =4 Brad Sewell
Melbourne: 1 Brent Moloney, 2 Colin Sylvia, 3 Nathan Jones, 4 James Frawley, 5 Brad Green
North Melbourne: 1 Andrew Swallow, 2 Daniel Wells, 3 Brent Harvey, 4 Drew Petrie, 5 Jack Ziebell
Port Adelaide: 1 Travis Boak, 2 Robbie Gray, 3 Hamish Hartlett, 4 Dom Cassisi, 5 Justin Westhoff
Richmond: 1 Dustin Martin, 2 Trent Cotchin, 3 Brett Deledio, 4 Nathan Foley, 5 Robin Nahas

Sydney: 1 Adam Goodes, 2 Jude Bolton, 3 Ryan O'Keefe, 4 Josh Kennedy, 5 Jarrad McVeigh
West Coast: 1 Matt Priddis, 2 Dean Cox, 3 Daniel Kerr, =4 Andrew Embley, =4 Luke Shuey
Western Bulldogs: 1 Matthew Boyd, 2 Ryan Griffen, 3 Callan Ward, 4 Bob Murphy, 5 Barry Hall.

Dona was part right, Watson did end up being no chance, while I was correct in having his pick Stanton at second. Zaharakis comes from fourth to win at the Bombers - a similar result to Enright at Geelong - in a straight swap with Jobe, who finished fourth.

http://www.afl.com.au/news/newsarticle/tabid/208/newsid/124778/default.aspx

Best and Fairest Count: 7 out of 11

Back on track at the Bulldogs with the top four. Boyd to win was an obvious pick, while Murphy leapfrogged Griffen and Ward into second.

http://www.afl.com.au/news/newsarticle/tabid/208/newsid/124792/default.aspx

Best and Fairest Count: 8 out of 12

Pendlebury, Swan and Cloke represents the top three in order at Collingwood, while Davis' fifth was also tipped. Luke Ball took Dale Thomas' fourth spot, but I'm happy with this result.

http://www.afl.com.au/news/newsarticle/tabid/208/newsid/124783/default.aspx

Best and Fairest Count: 9 out of 13

Once again the lack of recognition of defenders in the media's best players can prove an issue, with Darren Glass winning at the Eagles. He was named in the best just five times, three of those at the bottom of the list, and was ranked 15th in the club. However, West Coast, I would think, are the only club that does countbacks, and with Matt Priddis polling the same number of votes as Glass, I'm going to claim this one (Don't be surprised if he wins retrospectively down the track when they come to their senses). My second pick, Cox, was third, while Shuey got his top five finish.

http://www.afl.com.au/news/newsarticle/tabid/208/newsid/124794/default.aspx

Best and Fairest Count: 10 out of 14

The other counts are on tonight.

http://www.afl.com.au/news/newsartic...7/default.aspx

I got four of the top five at St Kilda, with our own Premiership Hero Sean Dempster replacing Brendon Goddard in the top five. Well done to Dempster on a top three finish. Fisher, however, was my fourth pic, while my choice, Dal Santo, was second by three votes, so.....

Best and Fairest Count: 10 out of 15

http://www.afl.com.au/news/newsartic...3/default.aspx

Three of the top five at Hawthorn, including Sam Mitchell's win, with two unfancied defenders slotting in here as well.
This lifts the score to....

Best and Fairest Count: 11 out of 16

http://www.afl.com.au/news/newsartic...1/default.aspx

Another win for Matthew Pavlich at Fremantle completes the 17 winners, and I'm quite happy to say I've landed 12 of them. Not a bad result, and vindication for the time spent (some would say wasted) on putting my rankings together. The Dockers matched with four out of five, with McPharlin replacing Sandilands in the five, and Sandi was sixth. So it all finishes at....

Best and Fairest Count: 12 out of 17
