Is actually getting beyond being annoying seriously we look like building something special and it gets ripped apart. :(
Esp with the way the AFL is running things

it's becoming a joke how disrespectful its becoming towards players and fans

All the traffic regarding top talent has been one-way when it comes to player movement. The majority of our flag side, plus others like Huntington and Newton.

We've never to managed to entice a single top quality player. But lost many.

Swans tried to get Blackburn a few years ago, and from memory it took a few days to confirm she was staying. We've lost Moody, Edmonds is a must-keep, at least until we have a capable alternative ruck. Disappointing to read Brown is a chance to head to GWS. Is/was she friends with Issie?

How many of our current crop of up-and-comers will be lured away eventually as well?

Have absolutely no concerns regarding Blackburn and Edmonds, I've seen no indication that either is likely to request a trade, both are signed long-term and from all accounts, the list is very tight at the moment. Of course clubs are going to enquire, it's due diligence and with minimal trades expected this year, the media is going to jump on any potential story. The article even mentions that we are expecting both to stay anyway, so I certainly wouldn't be losing any sleep over it. Let's not forget that Caitlin Gould and Zoe Prowse from Adelaide went as far as touring the Whitten Oval last year and we all know how that turned out.

As for Brown I was fully expecting her to be delisted or retire at the end of the year, so I'm surprised to see that she could be on the move. She's missed two complete seasons due to concussion in a rapidly evolving competition and as much as I'd like to retain her, list spots are a premium in the AFLW, and having her take a spot for a third year where she may not even play a game does not really benefit us in any way. If the Giants are interested I'd be asking for Huntington, assuming she's finished her studies in NSW.

This is how I rate our list at the moment...

I know Hungtington resigned recently with GWS.

Why do you think Laloifi will not be available next year

Season will start earlier, so will be close to whether she is fit.

Not starting as early as we originally thought. It won't start until Round 23 of the men.

So start two weeks earlier than this year, but finish at the same time.

This year was 11 games over 10 weeks.
Next year will be 12 games over 12 weeks, hence the 2 week earlier start

I don't believe any start date has been confirmed yet, happy to be corrected, but I know clubs were asked about the possibility of starting in R21 of the men's season, which would be around the first week of August.

If that eventuates that would be approx 11 months after Laloifi did her ACL, so it would still be touch and go. I'm certainly hoping she is fit for the season.

The final votes for the AFL Coaches Association AFLW Champion Player of the Year were released today with Pritchard finishing 20th overall, polling in 9 of our 11 games. Quite an achievement considering we had 4-5 games in which it was very difficult to get votes. I can definitely see Pritchard moving into the top 10 next year. Exciting times ahead.

Ray Walker's niece is doing an outstanding job.

Seven straight wins.

PA by far are the most underrated team in the comp. They'll cause Hawthorn a few issues next week.

It would be nice to see Port win it, anyone but Norf and their team of everyone else’s players.

Seeing Aisling McCarthy in the top 10 shows what a loss she was, just as she was getting comfortable playing footy. ☹
