AFLW 2024 - Round 10 - Chat, game threads, injury lists, team lineups and more.
It was the kicking equivalent of John Howard’s off-spin.True but Adams kicked like an American comedian doing a documentary on Aussie Rules kicking for the first time.
Logan looks a footballer, but not always a forward target.Mcdonald looked great, but more around the ground.
Mcleans ruck work was good I thought. Amartey started to get going then looked like he got injured ?
Say something nice about Campbell LukeParkerno1
Feels like less of a risk when we take the first quarter off every week anywayResting players is an interesting one. Remember the bye before the finals, so it's two weeks off. Is that enough to lose touch?
If our big guns can click again anything could happen. Our most consistent player since the bye has been Matty Roberts.
Get Paps back in there, and I think our forward line will operate a lot better. 2 small forwards to provide pressure (Cleary and Papley), 2 mediums (Parker and Hayward) and whichever big boppers are up there. Cleary already offers more around the ground than Wicks, plus can apply decent pressure - think he can play an important role for us come finals.Longmire just praised Cleary's tank and endurance. Perfect for that forward role tonight.
Can see why he was chosen over Sheldrick for this match.
Cleary and Parker are just well clear of Wicks because they do what forwards are suppose to do and kick goals. Could be that Parker clears Wicks in goals for the year next week in only his 7th match whereas Wicks had 16 gamesGet Paps back in there, and I think our forward line will operate a lot better. 2 small forwards to provide pressure (Cleary and Papley), 2 mediums (Parker and Hayward) and whichever big boppers are up there. Has always had the ability - just had a wretched run with injury. He was good tonight, made us look a lot more stable down back. It is Tommy Mac that worries me at the moment down back - he just seems in a bit of a funk, but improved as the game went on.I more meant Lewis Melican - the guy who was forgotten about two years ago and could have been delisted or on traded multiple times over the last 5 years. Who would have thought he would be the man that would be so pivotal.
He got a little bitey, but yeah, classic Horse!Just another Meh interview but thats John's style to a tee
No current season stats available
If the Swans ever need some fire in the belly, they should watch Adam Cooney talk about them on loop for half hour or so.
Same old negative sh** every week. Not a threat, much prefer to play them than almost anyone else in the 8 come finals time. Kate McCarthy just as bad. Even when we were 4 games clear at the start of the year it was always something negative. Has been the same the last couple of years, never a positive thing to say about the swans. What's he got to say
Add that to the pile alongsideCleary > Wicks.
He got a little bitey, but yeah, classic Horse!
Interesting to note he said NO to Paps next week
