I agree. Imagine how successful you'd be as a player manager if you couldn't get the players you manage to the clubs they chose. You'd be quickly running out of players to manage. It benefits Aish AND his manager that Aish gets to Collingwood. It's good business for future players as they will see that Pickering will look after them.

The only ways would be:

- to trade out another player for a future 2nd rounder; or
- trade one of our 2nds this year for another clubs future one.

We could ask Swans or WCE if they'd considering trading their 2016 2nd Rounder for pick 28

Or

Trade picks 26 & 28 for pick 10 from GWS. 2 x 2nd rounders worth more points

Then trade pick 10 & St.Kilda 2016 2nd rounder for Aisho and pick 17.

Or

Then trade pick 10 for Aisho

Or

Keep pick 10 and trade St.Kilda 2016 2nd rounder + pick 47ish for Aisho

Or

Keep pick 10 and offer Bears St.Kilda 2nd rounder only, knowing full well we'd get Aisho with pick 10 in the ND, if they refuse. If they deal, we take pick 10 to the draft. I wouldn't advocate this stance as it brings on bad karma like that now befitting the Bears with all the scrubs they've brought in.

Something tells me pickers will be okay with that. He doesn't need to worry about his list plodders that he will hardly make money on. Aish is the big ticket item, he knows that. I know which one I would rather keep happy if I had to choose

We can trade one of 26 or 28 for a future 2nd and on-trade it with Saints' future 2nd.

I feel pretty philosophical about this one. I hope it gets done, and I think it probably will, but worst comes to worst we walk away from the trade period with Treloar. Pretty awesome worst-case scenario if you ask me.
