Can you refresh my memory, how did it go in prior seasons. With noble/or CEO’s asking for assistance?
Was it a generic line like ‘we’ll certainly ask the question’?

Pretty sure i saw Noble sitting in Bourke St mall with his hat out and a sign written with a marker on an unfolded Kaiser Stuhl cask.

Once the Lizard re-signed with Swanies Blakes was no longer required .

But I did wonder why he never stepped up when we needed a senior coach all those times..!

Hello OP NFI, suppose often a new coach has look around after 12 months in the role.
Blake’s may well have left of his own accord.
Dunno but I hope we have the cash to get a decent replacement

Pretty sure it's public knowledge the head role hasn't appealed to him for years, even before he came to us.

Playing the devils advocate here. Obviously I’m pro Clarko.

You could look at it as getting rid of dead wood and things that just haven’t worked. But at the same time, you could be thinking, the guy takes off for most of the season, and then swings the axe. That could feel a bit rich?

I would very much like know the reasoning for Blakey, couldn’t care about Brown.
