If those are the stats we're looking at...

Jack: 25 touches (11 contested), 3.9 clearances, 0 bounces, 1.1 goals, 1.1 goal assists

He's very easily a better player than Parker and his tackles, inside 50s and rebound 50s are 50% or more above Gray. His 2 way workrate is exceptional.

Good call, has been named there before too.

FWIW Beams is at 28 touches (13 contested), 6.2 clearances, 0 bounces also, 1.33 goals, 0.5 goal assists. Pretty good numbers also.

I keep bringing up Stephen Hill...keep getting ignored.

He was sensational again today.
Lazy 32 disposals, 3 goals 1.
Exquisite passing at times

The problem is that his first name isn't Brad and he doesn't wear the brown and gold. Was a class above today no doubt.

Would like to see MacKenzie included, probably stiff not to already be AA by now.

I wonder if that superstar of a $850k a year player having had 9 sublime hand balls in the Derby will get all australian honors again. I seem to recall in the year he did get AA he was averaging an imposing 12 touches a game. Money well spent I reckon

3/10. I deducted marks for lack of originality and not throwing in a nickname like 'Nokickanui' when the opportunity presented itself.

Yep, gave Pav a bath to add to a long list of scalps. If Mackenzie keeps this up I think he's a lock.

Stephen Hill however, like others said, is competing for a midfield spot, arguably the hardest spots on the AA team to win. At this stage of the season, though, I would have no complaints if he was named on the wing or something.

thats why beams is in everyones side
Beams needs to come home strong to be considered for the squad let alone the final team...

The romanticist in me would just like to see the best winger named on a wing in the AA team, then again I'd also like genuine back pockets too.

He's missed one game, been quiet in another but dominated the rest, he should be in..

Like Stephen Hill and co - they have been very good for their sides, if not one of the best, and will probably be looked at, but they are competing for a very competitive position in midfield. Unless perhaps Beams goes on a HFF - but where would you put Robbie Gray and Luke Parker (if you have them in your side?)

Gray yes but Parker no, not close IMO. Beams in contention for wing, HFF or bench. Beams has been better than Gray too, IMO (biased I know)

He's not on 850k a year.

Sandilands had a whopping 14 disposals today and he's in line for AA honors this year. And I agree than Sandilands should be AA.
