No love for Ablett??

He started off a touch slow, but that was more due to the team finding it's feet, and him having no pre-season. He's now firing, and look for him to continue to dominate for the rest of the season. I'd imagine he'd have to make AA.

Joel Selwood is another. Will definitely make the team.
As for other Cats, the only other at this point I'd say are a chance would be Kelly, and Scarlett. Bartel MAYBE if he has a big 2nd half.

Still the best mid in the game ATM IMO, big ask to make AA this year though, bench at best IMO.

Enright certainly isn't ahead, though Scotland has been great this year.

Deledio has had a greater impact on games than Scotland, and both have been far more consistent than Enright.

Wouldn't be surprised to see all three in the side at the end of the year.

In answer to the question, yes I believe Deledio has been that good.

He is doing what he's been doing for 2 years with his run and creativity from half back, but he now also has the ability to go to a high quality opponent and beat him, without sacrificing the rest of his game. Scotland doesn't have that. I have Shaw, Deledio and Scotland in my 22 though, but I think Lids and Shaw are a long way ahead of the other contenders

B: Sam Fisher - Michael Jamison - Heath Scotland
HB: Heath Shaw - Luke McPharlin - James Kelly
C: Dale Thomas - Scott Pendlebury - David Mundy
HF: Marc Murphy - Travis Cloke - Steve Johnson
F: Jeff Garlett - Lance Franklin - Jack Reiwoldt
R: Dean Cox - Chris Judd (vc) - Jobe Watson (c)

I: Aaron Sandilands - Scott Thompson - Joel Selwood - Matthew Scarlett

Hardest spot is the small/med forwards Fyfe or Embley could easily be in Johnson's spot.

Re: All Australian Watch: 2011

Both average 0.8 goal assists per game, cloke takes double the amount of contested marks (pretty important stat that BTW), more inside 50s, rebound 50s (shows his workrate), as i said earlier, if kennendy didn't kick 10 in a 120 point massacre would we even be debating this? also, we havnt had the privlige of playing the GC yet.
So ridiculous.

He has a couple for the season.

You can't just discount a whole game either to fit your argument.

Kennedy's statistical output has been greater (as evidenced by the stats mentioned and a higher avg champion data ranking).

From watching games I rate his impact much higher as well, both due to his defensive efforts and the goals he kicks. I also rate his importance to our side much higher than Clokes to Collingwood.

Cloke takes more contested marks, that's a CHFs job, Kennedy plays more as a FF IMO, clokes infront and will be AA, deal with it.

I have never asked this before on BF, but how old are you dude?

Either a tween, unbelievably one eyed or a troll (possibly all three).

CM's are one stat, there are many factors which can be used to measure a KPF's output, none exactly.

I have watched both, so outside of Kennedy's superior statistical output, my qualitative observation is also that he has been better.

Cloke's definitely not in front, if he was you would actually be able to mount a genuine case for it.

How old are you?, Clokes currently a top 20 AFL player IMO, do you honestly think Kennedy is? laughable, cloke's a monster CHF, an absolute animal of a contested mark, no better tradional CHF in the game ATM.

Re: All Australian Watch: 2011

Definitely a troll.

Lol, i'm not the one trying push a player who's basicly played one good game in his life and hasnt even won a BaF (in a team that made a prelim BTW), or even played in a final as the best CHF in the league, you are, experts agree cloke is the best in the game right now (as most rate buddy as a flanker), are they trolls too?

Definitely, definitely a troll.

Of all the ridiculous claims in the last couple of posts this is by far the best.:D:thumbsu:

His 10 was a good effort against a VFL quality back, looked to be playing as a FF to me, did he even take a mark outside 50?, don't rate a CHF on goals kicked mate or bloody dreamteam scores, cloke does heavy work up the ground and works his ass off, splits packs and takes more contested marks week in week out, kennedy also played as a FF against us and was found wanting, kicked 2 lucky late goals that fell in his lap, cloke spends very little time at FF, understandable considering he's a lead up CHF though.

And if Steven Milne has managed to run on the ball kicked by Lenny Hayes, St Kilda would be premiers. The reality is Josh Kennedy kicked the 10 goals as the biggest contributer to a 120 point massacre not because of it. I find it funny that you are so happy to dismiss such as an achievement nor do you seem aware how it weakens your argument. If Peter Sumich has kicked a goal rather than point in the 1990 QF, Collingwood may not have gone on to the flag. See how stupid it sounds.

Got a question for youse all.

When is the last time a Coleman medalist hasn't made the AA team?

I'm just figuring, with Buddy probably missing the next 2, Riewoldt will win the Coleman. Now, on current form he would be nowhere near AA you would figure. If he keeps kicking 3 or 4 goals a game, wins the Coleman, but continues to have little impact, he will miss the AA team.

Anyone know the last time that's happened?

I think Cummings won the coleman but wasn't the AA full forward.

EDIT: Looks like Gehrig won the coleman in 2005 but isn't in the team
