There's enough there that it looks good on TV.

Dynamite has been excellent recently.

I don't worry about Tony's finances

I imagine most don’t worry about a promotions finances per se, but if something I enjoy is financially sustainable for the provider, then there’s a more realistic chance it will continue as is.

I’m glad you’ve been enjoying the show.

The new AEW TV deal has guaranteed their profitability for years to come, and PPVs continue to be profitable. Obviously the shows will look better when there are more people in the building, and they need to stabilise TV ratings to ensure the TV deal into the future, but right now we don't need to worry about their sustainability.

There's been a few things I've been meh about. It's felt very midcard focused, and some of the better AEW talent should be more centred - but I've loved the Death Riders stuff.

Every week they have a wasted hour at least

Jericho is pointless
They throw so many pointless womens matches in. Not all womens matches are pointless (Mariah/Toni stuff excellent in the build)
Even when there's good guys in the ring it's meaningless. Just random stuff thrown together and then they disappear for a few weeks
Heaps of random masked or Japanese guys come and go

Injuries haven't helped a number of their pushes I guess but they need to stop the dead airtime every week. Alot of skippable content imo

Yeah, that's fair enough. I think Tony can be a bit more ruthless with giving us more of what we really want and less of the midcarders (or choose a few midcarders to really get polished up).

I decided to tune in for the first time in a while, what has happened to Adam Cole? He looked awful before, but he looks even worse now. That awful fake tan he's sporting now doesn't help things, it makes him look like he has jaundice. The lack of muscle definition he had previously has gotten worse too.

The more former WWE guys I see on AEW the more it bums me out. This was meant to be an alternative, and an opportunity for the people that WWE would never look at.

I think it's good when it's Swerve or Toni who never really got their opportunity in WWE.

I think it's fine when it's people like Danielson, Mox or Mone, when it's people close to the prime of their careers.

I dislike it when it's guys who've had their opportunity, who've had their run, and who are now taking that opportunity from someone else for no real benefit to AEW, it just pads their own superannuation. I didn't love Copeland coming in last year, and I don't like this version of "Hurt Syndicate" (much as their entrance music rules.)

My fantasy booking has come true to this point, with Roddy Strong advancing to face MJF over Cole.

I quite enjoyed the flow-on effect they utilised today. Gave it a bit of that old ECW feel with match after match taking place.

Yes and no here.

Today gave a pretty strong showcase to the following talent...

Adam Page
Jay White
Juice Robinson
Christian Cage (former WWE star)
Adam Cole (NXT)
Roddy Strong (NXT)
Kyle O'Riely (NXT)
Takeshita
Will Ospreay
Kyle Fletcher
FTR (former NXT and WWE)
Malakai Black (former NXT and WWE)
Swerve (NXT)
Lio Rush
Penelope Ford
Britt Baker
Brody King
Orange Cassidy
Darby Allin

Everybody without WWE or NXT next to their name has developed their star power to an American wrestling audience through AEW.
I don't even really count NXT, because in hindsight it's painfully obvious how that revered era of NXT talent was only ever going to be remembered for its peak, or become something else entirely. That something else was AEW.

Pretty intense promo from Ospreay.

lol at the guy with a sign that said "I drove 30 mins to see Lance Archer".

Have to agree with comments about Adam Cole, needs to hit the weights. Looks very thin next to guys like Buddy Mathews and Takeshita.

Claudio absolutely destroyed Darby in the parking lot, sick swing into the garage door.

Swerve vs Lio Rush, and FTR vs House of Black were both good.

Those Julia Hart video packages are pretty well produced.
